Romans 12

King James Version

12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Scriptures that show that Christs death saved a person while in unbelief !

One of the most disappointing things about religion these days, that goes in the name of christianity, and claims to believe in Christ, and what He accomplished on the Cross by suffering and dying for sin, is that it didnt guarantee no ones salvation. Im going to show that scripture declares without a shadow of doubt that Christs death, burial and resurrection saves a person even while they are unbelievers, and enemies. Even then that God himself is reconciled to them.

The first scripture is Rom 5:10

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Thats being saved from Gods penalty of sin and received into His favor even while an enemy to God !

For peace was made for Paul, as well as other elect persons by the blood /death of Christ's cross Col 1:20-22

20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

God has no wrath for a rebellious unbelieving sinner for whom Christ died lest His death was to God of no effect, God forbid !

One must be Born Of The Spirit, before anyone can be saved from eternal damnation.

Are you Born Again?

Are you Born Again Of imperishable seed?

It’s because of Jesus shed blood / death that we can become Born Of The Spirit.

You leave that part out.

God wants everyone to be saved, just as His word says.

Your limited atonement for certain individuals holds no standing in Gods word.

1 Timothy 2:4-6

Easy-to-Read Version

4 God wants everyone to be saved and to fully understand the truth. 5 There is only one God, and there is only one way that people can reach God. That way is through Christ Jesus, who as a man 6 gave himself to pay for everyone to be free. This is the message that was given to us at just the right time.

We are reconciled to God by the death and resurrection of Jesus , then right before God when we become Born Again by His Living witness the Living Holy Spirit.

Without that you are just leading yourself through scripture and bringing it to your own understanding.

Who is leading you through scripture to believe what you believe, whose spirit?

According to Rom 5:10 how were the believers reconciled to God ?

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

So, you became Born Again by whom?

I’ve already explained the death and resurrection of Jesus ..it was needed in order to be reconciled back to God.

I ask again are you Born Again?

No good posting scripture if you aren’t understanding it in the spirit.

We have been Born Again of Gods Living seed, that seed is Gods Living Witness His Living Holy Spirit, that is the seed we have been Born Again of.

Whose seed is imperishable/ incorruptible that liveth and abideth forever....?

1 Peter 1

King James Version

1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Born again means that whatever is to be born again had been born previously. What was that?

You came out of your pregnant Mother (you were inside her in a bag of fluid).

This bag.. "broke" it burst.. .this is commonly known as "her water broke", and out came the BABY, (born of water)..

This is the 1st BIRTH.

That is your 1st BIRTHDAY = when you were first born., this is your EARTHLY Birth.,

Jesus said......to go to heaven..... "YOU must be born.......again". as that is a SPIRITUAL BIRTH.

And how and when did that happen?

The 2nd Birth, or "born again", is a spiritual Birth.

God's spirit births your spirit into HIS, as "born again" Spiritually.
This is to become "in Christ"... "one with God", born again, as a "new Creation".

That is your 2nd BIRTH....day.......or as Jesus explains it...>"you must be BORN...........AGAIN".

Sorry, but that is all a load of crap. All of your explanation there makes a mockery of Jesus' words to Nicodemus. Neither then nor now has "born of water" ever been a euphemism for physical birth.

Moreove, Jesus would never have made being born physically a requirement for anything. Such a requirement would place no limit whatsoever, since everyone who ever existed would have been born physically.

What is to be born again is the spirit. That means that the spirit had previously been born at least once. When and how was that?

Sorry, but that is all a load of crap.

You are not much of a student are you. ???

See, there is Anatomy and Physiology., and its a fact that if you are born, you came out of a sack of fluid. = Your mother's water broke.

Now, if you are hatched, or if you came from outer-space, in a UFO< then your Catholic Theology is Correct.

All of your explanation there makes a mockery of Jesus' words to Nicodemus.

Jesus was actually responding to NicoD, who was confused and thought Jesus was telling Him to go back inside His mother.
As NicoD understood the first birth is "water broke, and out He came", and that is why he is confused and says....>how can i do that again".

So, NicoD understood the earth birth.
Its a shame that you can't comprehend it. @JBO

Apparently you dont have any children.
So, if you ever do, then be there, when they are born, and you'll see the water break, and the child come out soaking wet.

That is the first BIRTH.....and now that Child will have to be BORN AGAIN........if they want to go to Heaven as an adult.

What is to be born again is the spirit.

This is the 2nd Birth..

Jesus says..."you must be born again",..= SPIRITUALLY..... as you've already been born once (earth birth), or you would not be here posting your confusion, @JBO

No one, either then or now ever refers to physical birth as being born of water. But not being mushc of a student, you wouldn't 'tknow that.

Mine is not a Catholic theology, but yours is a Zwinglian theology.

Yes, born again spiritually. That implies that there is a previous spiriual birth.

But clearly, you are not much of a student are you???? You haven't the foggiest notioin of what that is or was. Sad, terribly sad.

No one is spiritually born again 2x.

Notice this now, as this is the "born of water"... .and #2 shows you the Baby in the fluid. (born of water)..which is your birthday..

And now, you have to be "born.......again"., and that is Spiritual Birth. (not water baptism)
