Just a side note or question. Who said Adam or Eve hadn't eaten from the tree of life? That's the first tree I would've checked out. I guess it would've been hard to miss, being placed in the middle of the garden. It was pleasing to the eye and good for food.
Gen. 3
[21] Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
[22] And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, LEST HE put forth his hand, and  TAKE  ALSO of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
[23] Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

[24] So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep [guard, protect-H8104] the way of the tree of life.
EDIT:
Q. Why did God place Cherubim angels to protect/guard the WAY of the Tree of Life?
A. Evidently, He was concerned about mankind's newly acquired corrupted FREE WILL!!

The Antichrist was already revealed in the 6th century - the papacy.

Does not the "Little Horn" rise among the Ten Horns of the fallen Fourth Beast, the Roman Empire?
Does not the "Man of Sin" arise when the Roman Empire is "taken out of the way", according to the ECFs?
Does not the coming of Jesus follow - not precede - the great "falling away" apostasy - the papal reign?
Did not the papacy "think to change times and laws" by, for one, altering the Ten Commandments?
Is not the papal horn "diverse" from the other 10 secular horns in that it's a religio-potlicial power?
Did not the papacy reign for a time, times, and half a time (1,260 years) from 538 - 1798?
Did not the papacy "make war with the saints" - condemning 50-150 million Christians for "heresy"?
Does not the papacy have a man at the head, the pope, who speaks blasphemy?
Does not the Bible define "blasphemy" as claiming to be God and the power to forgive sin?
Does not the "Whore riding the Beast" aka the "church/state union" reside in the 7 hilled city, Rome?

This evidence and more points to only one possible candidate as "Antichrist" which is why Charles Spurgeon said "no sane man ought to raise the question" as to what Antichrist is:

View attachment 43900
The "One World Religion" will not be THE Papacy.
Though it is helping the "OWR" along, It will only become part of what is now being revealed: the "luciferian doctrine".
Though the PDF File is lengthy and spacey, one can get the gist of their ulterior motive, which is really all about "Saving the Planet", aka "Mother Earth", "Gaia".
Edit:

That right there is a rather difficult dichotomy for all of the 1000 yr. Millenium believers, if not also a downright conundrum, because the words: "Save the Planet", APPEALS to "the natural man" of everyone, both the saved and the unsaved.

The Born Again Christian's "Mother", is NOT this earth, but rather "Heavenly Jerusalem that is above"
Gal. 4
[26] But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all [who are of faith in Jesus, "the promised one".

When the Papacy finally realizes it's own concept of it's OWN "falling away" from faith in Christ (however they perceive Him), they will conclude that they were duped also!!

Daniel 7 says when the "Son of Man" (Jesus our High Priest) goes before the Ancient of Days, it is then the Little Horn is still running its mouth and continues to do so until it's cast into the fire. This is the "antitype" of the early "type" where the high priest would appear before the presence of God for the "Day of Atonement" Judgment aka "cleansing of the sanctuary".

We are told God deceives and has others deceive on His behalf. God kills and commands others to kill. He tears down. He blinds people. He curses people. He moves people to murder children and rape women.
I was just wondering why no one challenged this statement. I could assume that everyone agrees with it. I haven't heard too many others make a point of these actions of their God.

I can understand that some just don't want to think of their God in this way even though the record tells us theses facts.

God loves, but He also hates. God gives and He takes away family, possessions and good health as with Job. God gave him all these good things but God also took them away, including his wife and children.

Some might say that it wasn't God but Satan. That terrible evil spirit took it from Job. But my question would be, is Job a liar? Was what he concluded not truth?
The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised” (Job 1:21)

Job was tempted at least 3 times that we know of. But who tempted him? Many would say Satan and I'd agree.Yet others would say that it was God. I would agree with them too. They worked together to test Job according to the record.

It is like a dog owner/breeder/trainer. They raise the dog, train the dog, condition their dog so that it can fetch a stick.

Question: Who fetches the stick? If one says, the dog. That's truth. Yet if someone said, the breeder/trainer I couldn't disagree. For without the owner/breeder/trainer there would be no stick and no trained dog to fetch the stick.

Here's a well known revelation that many children have been taught. God kills children like them.

This one got me. God gets people to rape women.

These are hard to swallow but, 'it is written' in the scriptures so it's hard to deny.

What do we do with these and many other similar kinds of revelations of God?

Do I want to highlight the negative aspects of God only? No. If you read my previous posts the majority highlight the positive aspects and character of God. My hope is to get to know all of God, the Creator of heaven and earth.

Which "sanctuary" [temple] for both God and man was to be cleansed/restored, and indeed was cleansed/restored?
John 1
[29] The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb OF God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
[36] And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb OF God!

John 2
[18] Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
[19] Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
[20] Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
[21] But he spake of the temple of his body.
[22] When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

2 Cor. 4
[7] But we have this treasure [God Himself] in earthen vessels [our mortal bodies], that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us [through faith].

You are not correctly understanding the 2300 Day prophecy (not years) in Dan. 8 and 12, of which was fulfilled by Antiochus Epiphanes lV (sanctuary desolator) and Judas Maccabeus (sanctuary restorer).

The word is "cleansed" - not "restored" or "made right" or "rebuilt" or any of these other errors found in the new translations which is a deliberate attempt to hold back the avalanche of truth established by "cleansed".

The 2,300 Days are intrinsically tied to the 70 Weeks for several reasons:
  • The only portion of Daniel 8 for which Daniel sought explanation was the 2,300 Days
  • Gabriel came to give Daniel "skill and understanding" - immediately dropped the 70 Weeks prophecy
  • The Hebrew "mareh" for "vision" is used only in reference to the 2300 days vision of chapter 8 - when revealing the 70 Weeks, Gabriel said "understand the mareh".
  • The only time period within miles of the 70 Weeks from which it can be "cut off" is the 2300 Days

Now, the earthly high priest entered the Most Holy Place, cleansed the sanctuary and sealed the judgment of the people as to who would live and who would be cut off for sin, and then exited the sanctuary to the waiting people outside who rejoiced when he arrived outside with shouting and acclamation, immediately afterwhich they began the joyful celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles.

So, too, since the same starting point for the 70 Weeks (457 B.C.) is also the same starting point for the 2300 Days, we arrive at 1844 A.D. when our Heavenly High Priest exited the Holy Place and entered the Most Holy Place and began the "pre-Advent judgement" aka "cleansing of the heavenly sanctuary" - after which He will exit the heavenly sanctuary, exchange His priestly robes for His kingly robes, and come to us.

Sorry, friend, but Antiochus Epiphanes IV is disqualified as the "Little Horn" for several very good reasons, one of which is that the prophecy specifically said "in the latter time of their kingdoms..." - but when did Antiochus arise? He was 8th in a series of around 20+ kings!

Now, be honest: does that sound like "in the latter time" of the Seleucid Empire?

See, this is why I'm a Protestant Historicist - its ideas don't require ignoring facts of history to hold water.

In typology, Jesus is the innocent temple/sanctuary of God the Father, being the 2nd and final Adam, as Adam was in himself innocent, before he chose the wrong Tree first.

That brings us to 1844, where the only "temple" that could be subject to the "cleansing of the sanctuary" is the heavenly temple in which Jesus officiates. We know that the heavenly sanctuary must be cleansed "with better sacrifices than these (earthly animal sacrifices) so, yes, there is a "cleansing of the heavenly sanctuary" that was to eventually take place.

No no no, it's "in the latter time of their kingdom" which refers to the time of the reign of the four divisions from Alex the Great's death to the rise of the Roman Empire - the Little Horn is to arrive on the scene just before the end of the reign of the four Greek divisional kingdoms. When did Antiochus arise? You got it!

Sorry, I strongly disagree.
As you can plainly see, the 4th beast (Roman) followed after the Grecian Empire, (the 3rd beast).
The four (Grecian) Hellenistic kingdoms were in the latter time of the 3rd beast. That is WHEN the "little horn" arose, and not from within the 4th beast (Roman).
The "little horn" was Grecian, not Roman.

Though the Roman Republic was rising to become the 4th beast, the "little horn" also rose "among them" (10 horns), but was NOT OF them, because he was of the 3rd beast.
Dan. 8
[20] The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia [2nd beast].
[21] And the rough goat is the king of Grecia [3rd beast]: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king [Alex the Great of the 3rd beast].

[22] Now that being broken [the great horn-Alex], whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation [3rd beast-Grecian], but not in his [Alex's] power.
[23] AND in the latter time of THEIR kingdom [3rd beast-Grecian], when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance** ["the little horn"], and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

[24] And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy ["trodden under foot"-Dan. 8:13-14***] the mighty and the holy people** [of Israel].

Notes:
** Antiochus Epiphanes lV (desolator-1290 days)
** Judas Maccabeus (cleanser/restorer-45 days later).

*** [13] Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How LONG shall be the  VISION concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give BOTH the sanctuary and the host [army of Israel] to be trodden under foot?
[14]
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred [2300]  DAYS;  THEN shall the sanctuary [temple of Israel] be cleansed [commanded by Judas Maccabeus-who waited and did come to the 1335 days (45 days later)].

In typology, does that ring any bells, in regards to Jesus' resurrection and ascension??? Was anyone told to "wait" for something?

Please see 1 Maccabees for the accurate Jewish account of that history.
Bring your calculator, the dates are all there!!

We still have to account for the 2,300 Days prophecy, which is 2,300 literal years long, just as the 70 Weeks are 490 years long.
There is a major and drastic error in your comparing math equations between the
"70 WEEKS" and the "2300 DAYS".

1. Contexually, the 70 WEEK prophecy is a math formula: 70 weeks x 7 days = 490 days, whereby each day equals one year, thus 490 years. From that answer, the 490 years is concluded by the giving forth the commandment to rebuild Jerusalem, to the arrival of Messiah. History has proved that formula to be correct. Jesus came in the flesh at the end of the 69th week. In other words, at the time of His baptism, was the beginning of the 70th week, and fulfilled that week, as described in Dan. 9:24.

2. Contextually,
the 2300 DAYS prophecy does not provide any directive to do any such math, except to follow the historical setting, and then pinpoint the date of the prophetic event, revealed in history.
In that math of the 2300 days, the event of the sanctuary being ransacked and the desolation of the temple of Israel,
all took place in the beginning of the 2300 days, in the time known as
"The abomination the maketh desolate" of the sanctuary, whereby Antiochus Epiphanes took the gold and the articles/furniture of the sanctuary to his own place of dwelling. Then later for 1290 days he waged battles with Judas Maccabeus, in which the host/army of Israel was "trodden down" by him, until Maccabeus won the victory. Forty five days later (1335 days) the sanctuary was cleansed and restored.

Sorry, I strongly disagree.
Friend, it's high time people abandon this idea that the four division of Greece were somehow "additional kingdoms" to be factored into the prophetic timeline between Greece and Rome.

The fact is that the four divisions of Greece remained Greek - in culture, education, science, philosophy, mythology, democracy, economy, and worship - understand?

There were no drastic changes in any of these facets of Greek society that are found to take place each time one of the four great Western world empires arose and radically transformed the conquered.

The only change in the Greek Empire at that stage was that the one territory split into four and was ruled by four lines of kings - but it remained the "belly and thighs of brass" - it remained the "leopard with four wings" - it remained the "he goat with at first one horn an then four horns".

Daniel 2 is the prophetic timeline template that must be adhered to, or else we can turn Bible prophecy into every "private interpretation" under the sun.
