This society is broken. Fixing is possible, and that is part of the good news of the gospel. The Messiah is coming back and he, along with his disciples, will rule the world, govern the world, will fix the world.
A positive response to the gospel of the kingdom is an act that not only saves a person but also places him or her in the Messiah’s future government program.
