when I heard Trump say he wanted his shoes I knew he would be ok.

I saw it on our news last night, it came through live. I understand a spectator has been killed and two are critical. The shooter was only 20years old I believe.Now we shall see if everyone is sad about somebody trying to assassinate Trump a few hours ago in Pennsylvania.
He was injured slightly by his ear but thank God, not injured seriously.

I would still hope that most people would be sad about what has happened, especially as someone has died.

None of them would cry.
In public they would be subdued reactions, stoic, and talk about it as an evil attack on the office of the presidency, but in private would-be saying stuff like 'karma", 'he got what was coming for him' and smiles.
Sickening! And it was also sickening when I saw professing Christians on this forum rallying up members to go to the WH on January 6th with guns to "take back the WH" after Trump urged his followers to, "Come to the WH! It's gonna be a WILD time!"
Need to study more ......A lot of Americans celebrated.
Some of us prepared for day of National Mourning.
