Migraines are horrid! Praying for Mr. Duck.Could anyone pray for Mr. Duck? When the barometer pressure changes, he has been getting terrible migraines.
He's been tracking them to find the cause and it appears it's that. No amount of ibuprofen or aspirin has been helping.

Thank you! I made him some peppermint tea. Hope it helps soon.Migraines are horrid! Praying for Mr. Duck.![]()
If it's true migraine he will need proper migraine medication. I started to suffer from migraine when I was still at school and was prescribed all sorts of different things. None of them worked though until Ray bought me some tablets called Migraleve when he first saw me have and attack and I've kept them always by me ever since. I only get the occasional symptom these days. I hope he can find something that helps as they are horrible.Could anyone pray for Mr. Duck? My wife uses a few teaspoons of honey at the first sign of a migraine, and it makes it not happen.Could anyone pray for Mr. Duck? When the barometer pressure changes, he has been getting terrible migraines.

Really? that's remarkable, and does it prevent all the symptoms? My wife uses a few teaspoons of honey at the first sign of a migraine, and it makes it not happen.
Much love!

I will give him a spoonful when he wakes up. My mom left some stuff that still has the comb in it so I'm guessing it must be good.My wife uses a few teaspoons of honey at the first sign of a migraine, and it makes it not happen.

Make sure to try it at the very beginning. It doesn't always work later, at least for my wife.View attachment 58386
Is it this stuff?

Yes. Her migraines begin with a visual effect, a kind of prismatic look to things, that she's learned will develop into a migraine in a matter of 15 or 20 minutes. She eats some honey, and it just stops happening.Really? that's remarkable, and does it prevent all the symptoms?
I get migraines when I don't get enough to eat. I assume it's a low-blood sugar thing.Could anyone pray for Mr. Duck? When the barometer pressure changes, he has been getting terrible migraines.

unless you see halos, are temporally blinded, or any visuals and seek a dark room and sometimes throw up. You will not call a headache a migraine. You are totally incapacitated with a migraine.I get migraines when I don't get enough to eat. I assume it's a low-blood sugar thing.
Before my migraines, I usually get a warning that consists of two spinning lines that come together at a point, growing larger and larger, in the vision of my right eye. Once the migraine materializes, I can go for six or seven hours with a terrible headache and nausea. I like in bed, and just the slightest move can cause me to vomit.unless you see halos, are temporally blinded, or any visuals and seek a dark room and sometimes throw up. small house tree's do wonders for air quality inside. Just keep them watered. Japanese culture uses plants in their homes, and Bonsai trees are normal. Now flowers can affect allergies so watch out and use nonflowering plants. You can get dwarf lemon trees and keep them inside next to a window and have lemonade most of the year. Yes, barometric pressure, low pressure especially, before a rain or thunderstorm is usual. I know a lot because my wife suffers from migraines and God has blessed me as a researcher.Mr. Duck gets like shadows or something before he gets them.
Interestingly, I read migraines are more prevalent for people where both the barometer is low AND poor air quality.
After I turned ours on, it seems like our HEPA air purifier is working for the most part. There is some relief.
However, it is ridiculously expensive to run all of the time. I don't want my kids suffering allergies either and it's already starting for at least my son and I.
I read air purifying plants will improve the air quality by 75%, so I guess my teen is going to have fun with me this year learning how to raise some house plants. Good experience for him.
Is it ok if I ask how Botox works...I thought that was used on woman’s wrinkles? My twin brother gets migraines linked to air pressure ect - he use to end up in hospital. Now he has Botox once every few months and it has helped so much. ( he lives in Germany so they pay through the health Insurance )
The Lord has seen fit to heal me of migraines. First one I had I was about 6 years old. I was prone to many regular headaches but as I grew older they increased, right into my 40's. The meds the doctors gave me back then gave me heart pain so I found myself between a rock and a hard place (the heart pain was because the medication constricts all blood vessels including the one to the heart.unless you see halos, are temporally blinded, or any visuals and seek a dark room and sometimes throw up. That's great. My wife keeps those in the med cabinet too. As you grow, ahem, older, your body chemicals do change, and migraines do go away. But sometime pop back when you least expect it. God hears our prayers and knows our suffering. We are blessed to have a Savior in Jesus Christ with us.The Lord has seen fit to heal me of migraines. First one I had I was about 6 years old. Since I could not take the meds, couldn't sleep it off (as the pain is excruciating) I needed a cool dark room with cold rag on eyes and forehead, couldn't stomach the smell of cooking food, always threw up. My answer turned into taking 3 Excedrin P.M.'s and doing all the above things. Worked like a charm!
Praise and glory to God, haven't had one in well over a decade!
