I haven't noticed non-Christians in any of the threads I read, or participate in. Just lots of people who disagree with my understanding of scripture, and vice-versa. Maybe I just don't read threads or respond to posts I don't regard as worthy of my time, so I probably would ignore (without placing on ignore) someone's views if I regarded what the person was saying as identifying him as "not really a believer in Jesus".

I don't know. There may be some people "out there" who will claim to be Christian just to be able to post in the Christian forums. Not everyone has a problem with lying to God and man.

Anyway .. not sure of the practicality of what you suggest. I don't actually come across people here who give me the impression they do not believe in Jesus or in the Bible. But maybe I just don't read what they say, if there are any. Who decides what only God knows?

This has already been put in place. There have been some who did change from Christian to "Other Faith" but, wouldn't you think they would all be speaking to the choir? Those who changed their are only those who are not pro-Trinitarian so, who will they argue with?

I guess I am not clear on the rules. I understood it that Christian tagged members could not start threads in the non christian forums but could still post in them.

You're right. Christians can't start a thread there, but anyone can reply on them, and they do.
Just one for instance is-- "The happy thread" - Mattias' thread, who is other faith.

Funny, he is other faith and yet, he has far more in common with the SOF than may here do who tag themselves as Christian, and are not.
Your suggestion would definitely make it a better place to visit. The ridiculous things I read are so confusing to many people. I would never want a new Christian to come here to these forums. They would be so mixed up about what a Christian believes, after an hour since non- Christians starts thread who tag themselves as Christians.
Isn't there enough disagreement amongst Christians on these boards over non-essentials already? I sure think so.

What is a non- Christian? it's simple for me-

1-anyone who denies that Jesus was born, Christ the Lord
2-anyone who denies that Jesus' blood washes away our personal sins
3-anyone who refuses to worship the Lord Jesus
4-anyone who condemns the Christian faith as Satanic

Do you agree? If someone claimed any of those are they Christian? How about claiming all 4 of them?

If tagged as other faith they have 5 places to post threads. The apologetics forum would be the one they use most to start against trinity threads, I would think.
Instead of wasting my time having to counter their lies all over the forum with regard to everything they deceive about, I could choose to go to them or not, and interact with Christians on here more. That would be so nice. I think giving JWs FIVE spots to post is more than generous. I don't know why they are allowed to post at all, frankly.
No one but Jws are allowed to even read their forums, let alone a post.

You know you do have the ignore option if you don’t want certain members to ‘ waste your time ‘ and no one forces anyone to respond to another members post.
Once again members rising up and endeavouring to dictate what staff and admin should be doing and how the forum should or shouldn’t be run.
