If we are all predestined before our birth to either life or death, what is the point of free will?
No@Noitalever
Why was there a TKGE in the garden, as well as a “tree of life”? Wasn’t that about choices?
It means, that there is a@Noitalever
What does it mean when Jesus said to Nicodemus “you must be born again” (John 3:3)
Yes, but if you're referring@Noitalever
Can you give me scriptural answers to those questions?
That makes no logical sense…..Jesus sent his disciples out to preach about his kingdom and how to gain salvation….if it was predetermined, what was the point? And was this disciple making work to stop?To fulfill the will of God.
The question was where do you find predestination as a Bible teaching?1 John 2:27
If you want me to answer any of your questions then break them down one question per post I'm not going to go through 50 questions in one post. So if you want me to answer your questions post them one by one. And just because it doesn't make any sense to you doesn't mean anything to me I don't know why you would think that it would mean anything to me? And you don't determine anything about what I can or can't do or what God can or can't do or this or that in fact I doubt that you really determined anything at all in the creation of God. You need to keep that mind in when you address me.That makes no logical sense…..Jesus sent his disciples out to preach about his kingdom and how to gain salvation….if it was predetermined, what was the point? What did Jesus commission his disciples to do after his return to heaven?
Matt 28:18-20…
”And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (NASB)
You can’t take some Scripture to support your view, and ignore others to the contrary. “All Scripture is inspired of God” according to the apostle Paul….so everything we believe must be based firmly on God’s word, otherwise a million people could make a million different claims, and how would you tell the genuine ones if there was no measuring line? Scripture does not contradict itself.
The question was where do you find predestination as an Bible teaching?
I told you already, don't expect me to also give you understanding of the scriptures. If you can't see it then you can't see it now if you think it's wrong then prove it's wrong and your opinion does not prove anything except that it's just your opinion. The question was where do you find predestination as an Bible teaching?
He can, but being made in his image, means that we are also endowed with free will….otherwise the TKGE makes no sense. It was a choice to eat from that tree. Adam made that choice and threw all of his children under the bus. That God knows the end before the beginning.
That is extremely vague….why did anyone need to be “born again”?It means, that there is a
second creation of God,
Which comes after the first
creation of God.
And that tells me everything….are you the privileged one who knows because you have a direct line to God?Yes, but if you're referring
to any scriptures that have
been written by man and published
in a book, then you will have to
indicate that when you ask it of me,
for not all scripture has been written
by man and published in a book
or any form to be read in words.
Are you serious? What difference does it make if I break the questions up into single posts when you can quote the point and simply answer it? Just like I have done here….?If you want me to answer any of your questions then break them down one question per post I'm not going to go through 50 questions in one post. Are you able to follow instructions? I specifically instructed you, if you wanted to ask me questions, that I would answer, to do so in the manner of one question per post. I thought that I had made myself clear to you, I don't mean to be disrespectful or talk down to you, but in order to have a productive discussion where perhaps something good can come from it there needs to be order. So if you want me to answer any of your questions take one question at a time per one post and post it post as many questions as you like as long as you post one question per post. Then we can try to have a productive conversation about it.He can, but being made in his image, means that we are also endowed with free will….otherwise the TKGE makes no sense. Do you know how many people believe that about themselves? Are they all correct? How can you tell?

Your defensiveness is also telling…..you too are giving your opinion…..
Yes, just as the devil, Adam and his wife had free will to make a decision that had nothing to do with God predetermining them. If God planned for the world to get this bad, because of the predetermined choices they made, and to have so much suffering among the human race…..what does that say about him?You that believe that
you have a free will,
the power to make
any decision in your life.
What I had for breakfast….what clothes I chose to wear……and what I chose to do with my time today….?So I ask you this question:
Name one thing.
Just one thing.
That you decide.
That you think.
That you feel.
That you see.
That you do.L
Just one thing
That's not already determined
by anything else, except you.
Name just one
decision that you make
In your life that is
you doing it.
It's apparent to me,Yes, just as the devil, Adam and his wife had free will to make a decision that had nothing to do with God predetermining them. If God planned for the world to get this bad, because of the predetermined choices they made, and to have so much suffering among the human race…..what does that say about him?
Did God plan all this wickedness to take place…and if so, tell me where it says that he did….and why.
He gave the humans two choices…obey or disobey….live or die….that is free will.
What I had for breakfast….what clothes I chose to wear……and what I chose to do with my time today….?
This could get really silly if you think free will does not exist…..how could we be made in God’s image without free will? It was supposed to be a gift, but the three rebels turned it into a curse.
That God knows the end before the beginning.
That God knows your beginningThat God knows your beginning and how you are going to die, does not mean that God predestined it.
It only proves that God's Foreknowledge is True.
