WOW.
Time for a Bible Lesson, son . . .
You are not qualified to teach non-Catholics.
First of all – God is NOT the God of the dead –
Not news.
And I never said otherwise.
The prohibition against contacting dead spirits in Deut. 18:10-11 was against conjuring them up for purposes of gleaning information from them.
The purpose of not Calling out to Spirits…
Is Because Conjuring Spirits is VIA “PRAYER”…
Prayer Is a sign/ method/ of WORSHIP and reserved For God Alone.
If a Gentile person IS NOT saved, Not born Again…that person requires a mediator / intercessor… and “THAT TASK,” solely belongs TO JESUS…
no one else.
Rev 5:
[8] And when he had taken the book, the
four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and
golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
The “prayers OF saints” are prayers of human men on Earth, who are IN Christ… and the prayers Are “odours”…. Not petitions of Living humans Asking bodily dead humans to petition God “for them”!
- Rev. 5:8 – whose they not only hear us – they intercede for us by taking our petitions before God.
False.
- Heb. 12:1 assures us that. “… we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses (saints in Heaven)”.
No.
Heb 12:
[1] Wherefore
seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
They IN Christ … can SEE other (living human witnesses) saints IN CHRIST around them and take comfort in their presence and Faith.
[/B]
- shows us the saints in Heaven under the Altar crying out to God for justice.
No.
Rev 6:1 are Departed Saved souls of JEWS, still on Earth, waiting for their other JEW Brethren, to Believe, Bodily Die, Be soul Saved… and all their saved departed souls to rise to heaven Together… and they Wonder HOW long their wait will be before God Avenges them.
You should actually try Reading Scripture … without your Catechism that tells you What to believe.
