Is it that we see our own failings and triumphs in the actors on screen , I think so . Other times it is an opportunity to live outside yourself , things you would never do , an escape .
The things of this world we see have an effect on our thinking and we need to guard our minds as we see these things .
As I watch movies now it is with a much more critical eye toward am I being sold a bill of goods or not .

Does anyone remember The Nun's Story? Audrey Hepburn starred....it was a true story. Saw it as a child.
She left being a nun. I wonder how her life turned out?
I knew someone whose mother had been a nun and left it. I saw a photo of her mother as a nun and she looked terribly miserable. She left it, married and had children. She sold real estate. She sold a young poor couple a home here in Los Angeles for one dollar. Her daughter wished her mom would have kept a home for her....Los Angeles became so expensive.

Ty Cobb !
That's a great show, for it's all about greatness.
Tho the show never gets into the why is Ty Cobb the Greatest base Ball player ever by far ! not to mention why or how he excelled in Business, sure he could be seen as a Bastard, but it was not because he himself was stupid !
But Al Stump did not understand Ty at all, because he was not that bright to get a handle on such.
I found He was an inspiration into the dealings, as I picked up on what he was on about in the show, but dull boring people who can not see past their own boring prejudice and hate Ty Cobb. because that is challanging to them !
Not to mention Cobb was correct about Babe Ruth being only what Ty thought of him in fact. as Ruth had nothing on Cobb in any way.
As Cobb said, He could run alright for a fat man ! and Ruth was a total Pig of a man.
But the Media love Ruth and hated Cobb, because Cobb totaly understood who they where ! and did not need them as his personal whore ! like so many such people you see on TV ? Crallers 24/7 for that's their god's, that they have to idolise !
Like where would such people without the Media, finished !
Not to mention show Business people have to whore themselves to get anywhere, just ask all of the women who went to Hollywood !
But Cobb was not such who played such pathetic games with anyone at all ! He had stood up for Christian values as well.
But the Media Whore does not want you the people to wake up and understand reality ! so they have to try and make Ty Cobb out to be the monster, just as they do with Trump ! for they feer such people, could expose them for who they truly are in fact ! so they have to try and kick them down with lies etc. for they know this bloke is no push over ! because he is so bright that if one like that could wake people up out of their slumber, they would be exposed as a whore !
