If you are truly reborn, you will in fact remain trusting in Jesus.

You may "fall from grace" if you begin to think you must do something to add to Jesus' reconciliation, and then you believe you must obey to remain saved, which takes you from grace to works.

It won't undo your rebirth, but it won't lead you to maturity, and it won't keep you from sin.

Much love!
I find it shocking, and maybe you do as well, that the egos in the sin nature are proud to boast at saving themselves through work.

Grace through faith is God's words. Astounding when I witness any one who insists God did not say that. But they do.

I just remember what Jesus said in Matthew 7.

They knew did wrong as soon as they went and hid from God.
You're forgetting the course of events aren't you?
They hid from God after they ate of the tree. The tree that imbued them with knowledge, understanding,of good and evil.

No.

How did you get on your computer this morning, this evening, and at night?

You make a choice. Eve seen the fruit, as good for wisdom and it was her lust that drove her to grab it.

I don't blame women or anything it was just a choice.

James talks about it to his audience.

James 1:14 Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away.

Nope. I'm not Calvinist, and neither is that doctrine. It's all Bible.

Much love!

You actually mean, you are not aware of what all Calvin believed and taught.

And no, the 'once saved always saved' doctrine is from men, and is not Biblical.

I actually meant what I said.

Much love!

Then that does... make you a Calvinist, simply because if you believe God did NOT give us free will, and that only those He chooses can be saved, and not by our OWN free will, that is what it means. But God's Word instead shows that He gave us free will to believe, or not to believe, other than those He hardens for His Purpose.

Slip ups in future sin that need to be repented of is a lot different than what you are talking about. Falling away from Christ to atheism and Communism like Fidel Castro did is not a slip up in sin where they are still saved.

Slip up? Isn't that a bit of a whitewash? Sin kills. No question. Sin separates us from God by making us spiritually dead, no longer living in the same realm as God.

Either your obedience is required to be saved or it's not.

1% sin is still fatal. That's why it must all be removed.

Much love!

Yeah, Jesus died for sins, butttttttttttttttttttttttt you must do this and that and this and that otherwise... you just not a true believer....

If a person confesses they believe that Jesus christ died, was buried, and resurrection... I just take them for their word.
Yall would have loved the old me . man i sure could quote i believed in all of that
but i was a devil . no sir
their fruits must be examined . many follow another jesus

John 1:29 KJV
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Did Jesus take away the sin of the world? What does that mean?

Much love!
the Greek literally means to carry away, to carry off, to remove..

Also. A lamb is symbolic for the day of atonement where a lamb takes away the sin of Israel for the previous year (atonement)

so your saying Jesus did not know about those sins when he gave you eternal life. he just gave it to you hoping you would not sin again?

so God needs proof?
As if . So try telling me with scrips
where i am wrong
about the fact that many DO preach another jesus
that many who even lip his name , as i once did , yet followed satan , was not saved
do not exist . OH THEY SURE DO exist .
Look at the churches ,
most today have no real idea what jesus they follow
and they would have run both HIM and the apostels RIGHT OUTTA they churches .
Fact . This is a very sad fact , BUT ITS STILL A FACT .
