But I am still baffled that people 2000 years later are still predicting these things, when the letter itself was addressed to 7 churches pressing on them of a time when Jesus was coming quickly.


That just baffles me, I don’t know everything about revelation but those key points are what drives me into faith of them happening within that time up to the destruction of 70 ad.

Cause a biblical generation is 40 years and say Jesus was 30 years old when he spoke these things, that would give an entire generation of people time to repent and turn to God and “be saved like Paul says in Romans” which was about the great and dreadful day which had yet to happen.

The woman in Revelation 17 will be destroyed, made desolate, with fire as the ten horn kings carry out God's will in Revelation 17:16-17.

Since Jesus returns to Jerusalem in Zechariah 14, and destroys them who are attacking her, the woman is not Jerusalem.

In my view, the woman is the Vatican, considered associated with Rome, known as the city of the seven hills, where the woman sits, Revelation 17:9.

The scarlet and purple in Revelation 17:3, would represent the cardinals (scarlet) and the bishops (purple), in their periodic joint assemblies.

Having the name written on her forehead "MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH' would indicate that the Vatican has been influenced by the mystical kingdom of Satan and his angels, during the time of the inquisition, when a multitude of Christians were put to death because of their departure from the Vatican's rule and authority. In Revelation 18:2, Babylon the great is fallen is fallen is referring to the Satan and his angels being cast down to earth in the middle of the 7 years, in Revelation 12:7-9, as God begins dismantling Satan's kingdom and taking away Satan's power.

The fall of Satan's kingdom is compared to the fall of a great, wealthy trading city, in Revelation 18.

And because so much of Daniel carries forward to Revelation, one must expect to see more than a gross misinterpretation of a pronoun in 9:27. To be candid, how anyone can think the 4 verses in 9:24-27 are not messianic is frightening. Who do you think the scriptures are all about ? And especially Daniel - it is all about His first coming and how He will save mankind.

The gross, intentional misinterpretations of 9:27 and the 7 year tribulation, etc., was indeed constructed by the Jesuits in the 16th century as a counter reform measure designed to remove the "accepted" belief that the papacy was the little horn of Daniel 7 and 8.

So, I will be looking forward to you pointing out the verses first and then how you interpret them to include an "antichrist" literal figure.

And if you have an interest, perhaps you might be willing to comment on just who is the little horn, when he came to power, why has God given us so much ink to this lieral individual .... and why you are not focusing on him.... he has been here for 1500 years!

The papacy/pope as being the little horn is not possible because to become the Antichrist, the person must be Jew, not a Christian, in order to be anointed the king of Israel thought-to-be messiah.

The concept of "Christ" is found in Mark 15:32. Although Jesus was being mocked by the chief priests and scribes, the concept of "Christ" is found that verse.
