[1Corinthians 6:9-11 KJV] 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God.

[1Chronicles 29:11 KJV] 11 Thine, O LORD, [is] the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all [that is] in the heaven and in the earth [is thine]; thine [is] the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

Paul spoke of the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God includes all that is in heaven and earth.

We are washed, and are sanctified, and are justified. We will now inherit the kingdom of God.

If we ARE justified that means we have been justified. Once justified we can't become unjust. Being now justified we have eternal life.

[Titus 3:7 KJV] 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Back in the decade of the 1960s, while still a young guy in his twenties, I
came to the realization that even if I managed to live a pious enough life to
make the cut for Heaven, I was pretty sure I couldn't keep up the good work
forever. Sooner or later I'd show my true colors and get thrown out.

It occurred to me that if I were as normally and naturally like God instead of
like me, then it would not only be very easy to attain Heaven but just as
easy to stay there. Well; God must've read my thoughts because in the course
of time, I ran across a passage in the book of Ezekiel that goes like this:

"I will gather you up from all the nations and bring you home again to your
land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. Your filth
will be washed away, and you will no longer worship idols. And I will give
you a new heart with new and right desires, and I will put a new spirit in
you. I will take out your stony heart of sin and give you a new, obedient
heart. And I will put My spirit in you so you will obey My laws and do
whatever I command. (36:24-27)

Just think of the enormous advantage that passage speaks of. Whereas I
am normally and naturally unrighteous, with that promise in hand I could
become just the opposite, viz: I could become normally and naturally
righteous. That passage in Ezekiel really perked me up and lifted my spirits
because it gave me a light at the end of the tunnel whereas before then, I
had none.

* Eph 2:11-22 tells how that God has a way for Gentiles to share in the
Jews' benefits. The light at the end of the tunnel spoken of above is available
to everyone on Earth regardless of age, race, color, or gender identity;
which the apostle Peter sums up by saying:

2Pet 1:2-4 . . Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the
knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has given us
everything we need for life and piety through our knowledge of Him who
called us by His own glory and goodness. Through these He has given us His
very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate
in the divine nature.

I suspect that given the choice, most folks would prefer to keep their human
nature; mostly because they're so used to it. But if divine nature is what it
takes to get into God's world and stay in God's world, then of course there's
no contest.

This is the new covenant made only with Israel, which will be fulfilled in the future

We share only in the Jews spiritual things.............[Rom 15:27 KJV] 27 It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.

In the church today, the body of Christ, there is neither Jew or Gentile, but one new man

What do you mean by repentance?
What do you mean by spiritual rebirth?

Jesus established it at the last supper. It's clear from the text.

What do you mean by repentance?
What do you mean by spiritual rebirth?
Okay so. Repentance literally means to re-think. So you re-think your life and see that you're a sinner who needs God's forgiveness. Then you ask Jesus to come into your life and be your Saviour and then you are re-born spiritually - Jesus calls it being born again. So after that you are now a child of God and don't need to depend on your own righteousness - which is rubbish - because God has made you properly righteous because of Jesus. That is the true gospel, the good news.

Romans 10:9-10
9 If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

That was given for Israel to believe
For eternal life they had to believe on his name.........to believe he was their Christ the Son of God...........[Jhn 20:31 KJV] 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Here is our gospel.......................[1Co 15:1, 3-4 KJV] 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; ... 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:.....................
[Rom 5:9 KJV] 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
[Eph 1:7 KJV] 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

You have to give God your faith in Christ, or God wont give you "the Gift of eternal life.""
John teaches that Eternal life is "" in His Son"".....and John is talking to the Christians.. in 1 John 5....and tells them, that ""you can KNOW you have Eternal life, because eternal life is found in Jesus."""
So, the born again are "IN CHRIST".........and "Christ in you, the hope of Glory".......is not talking to ISRAEL.....its talking to these.

"you are become the Temple of the Holy Spirit".. Paul teaches the CORINTHIANS.....= The Born again CHRISTians.

We cant give God anything for eternal life
We are to believe God.....we are to believe the gospel.....Christ and his blood is the object of our faith
