Gods Word, tells us that there is no truth in those like you, who believe they can "sin not". You can't read the Bible like it's some kind of cheap paperback novel. You need to have the gift of discernment, in order to interpret the Bible. You obviously don't have that gift, as it's clear you're one of those who pluck out 2 words in isolation and build an entire false doctrine out of them.

You need to learn about context, before you can move from the elementary kindergarten stuff. Your first step should be to find a Bible class for beginners, you need to be quite and listen to those who actually know.

Just skip that scripture, and say to thyself, "nothing to see here". People do it all the time.

but if we confess our sin, God is faithful to forgive us.

Your 1Jn verse is not written to Christians.

Read instead 1 John 3:9, in a KJV< and learn that verse, and you'll have finally learned something .

Also, Jesus has already forgiven the born again, all sin.., so if you have sin, then you are not a Christian, because Jesus has not died for all you sin, yet. @Christian Soldier

A.) "Jesus is the ONE TIME........Eternal Sacrifice.....for sin"......because..... "God hath made JESUS>..to be SIN... for us".

The reason you sin every day and seem to want to brag about it, is because you're very carnal, and do not understand anything about Salvation. @Christian Soldier .
I don't brag about the fact that, every born again Christian continues to sin every day for the rest of our lives. But what I am bragging about is the fact that Jesus has paid for every single sin of of every single born again Christian. That means that He paid for all of our past, present and future sins.

I know you hate that truth, because it destroys your false Arminian version of the gospel. True believers are saved by grace, but you guys reject that fact because it leaves you nothing to boast about. You hate the gospel message because it has the stench of death to you, but it's a sweet smelling aroma to those of us who love the truth.

We never skip any scripture, and we never pluck any verses out of their intended context and apply the doctrine of demons to them as you do.

According to your demonic doctrine, God's Word contradicts itself. See, you can't hold to your demonic doctrine and claim you believe what God has said, so make up your mind, which will it be.

I'm not going to swallow your Cool Aid. Your interpretation of 1 John 3:9 is the one which those who are under strong delusion hold to.

True born again Christians, are not under the law, because our Redeemer has set us free from the law. So we don't sin, because our sin is not counted against us, since we are hid in Christ. Whilst you will have to pay for every one of your sins, in hell.

My sin is imputed to Christ, He took all of my past, present and future sins upon Himself and became sin for my sake. He has cast my sins behind Him, so they are not even visible. That's something your wolf in sheep's clothing failed to teach you.

I am free from the law, I am dead to sin. Sin has lost it's power over me and death has lost it's sting so I'm now free from the law which you are obviously still under.

What you posted is only related to your failed discipleship as you claim you "sin everyday".
See, if you are sinning, then you have a severe issue with not understanding what it means to have become a 'new creation in Christ".... "not under the Law, but under Grace".

Notice carefully..........every Christian is 'IN CHRIST, and "ONE with God", and there is no SIN found there, or they could not be "in Christ" and "one with God".
Now if you have a bible.......a KJV, then turn to 1 Jn 3:9 and read it carefully.

Little one, your theological opinions are your "cool aid" and you drink it constantly.

Your interpretation of 1 John 3:9 is the one which those who are under strong delusion hold to.

I didnt interpret that verse.....i just told you to read it.
Try the NIV, as you probably use that version.

I wont be going to hell, as i was born again long ago...... and you dont have to go to hell.
Noone has to go to Hell, as Jesus has given us the means to go to heaven, instead.

Remember?

Now you say your sins are dealt with by Jesus.
So, are they dealt with, or do you have them?

Where does the Bible say that we must stop sinning?????

Jesus telling a man sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee

John 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

Hebrews telling us about wilfully sinning which follows a certain fearful looking for of judgment

Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Hebrews 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Paul telling them not to sin

1 Cr 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Peter on those who cannot cease from sin

2 Peter 2:14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children

There is sinning in ignorance and willfully sinning, the latter is what is specifically mentioned in that verse. Just as there is also being yet in the flesh (yet carnal) and the motions of sins which are by the law are spoken of in Romans 7:5 But then in Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. We are to walk in the Spirit , as Paul said, Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

The Son of God sets us free, sin will have no dominion over us under the grace (Romans 6:14) because the grace of God is effectual in us over the same and teaches us to deny worldly and ungodly lusts (Titus 2:11-12) and live righteously in this present world.

We might not be on the same page on things, but you did ask where the bible tells us to stop sinning, which is why I provided those verses.

What Jesus said is also here concerning sin

John 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you,
Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Paul said in the time then present

Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Paul said in a time that was past

Rom 6:20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

Paul again said in the time then present

Rom 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have
your fruit unto
holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Just bumping up my so called "demonic doctrine"

You obviously don't understand what 1 John 3:9 is saying. If it was saying that born again Christians stop sinning, then God would be a liar,, because He confirms that born again Christians who are indwelt by the Holy Spirit still sin.

1 John 3:9 is confirming that regenerated people like me, who are indwelt by Gods Holy Nature, cease to live a life of continuous sin.
I was wicked like everyone else, before God saved me. My thoughts and intents were all evil continuously. So when I was born again, of God, I ceased being evil continuously, because Gods seed remains in me. So now I'm no longer a slave to sin and Satan, and I'm no longer under the law, but I am free in Christ.

This doesn't mean that I won't be tempted and fall into sin, it just means that sin has lost it's power over me. I'm no longer a slave to sin and Satan. And all my past present and future sins have been fully paid for by Christ, so I won't suffer any punishment for them.

I know you hate the true gospel, so you have invented your own false gospel, so you will pay the price for that.

I sin everyday, just as every other born again Christian does. But my sins were dealt with 200 years ago, they were paid for in advance, so they are not counted against me as yours are against you.

You have fallen for the demonic gospel, which teaches you legalism. Your demonic gospel is the same one Muslims believe, they believe that those who do more good works that evil works will enter heaven.

I can assure you that you're in for a rude shock when you hear the words, "depart from Me you workers of iniquity, for I never knew you".

You "Truly" are under strong delusion. Your demonic doctrines confirm it

You are aware that all unrighteousness is sin (1 John 5:17) and it is for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness (2 Thes 2:11)

Whereas you ask,

"Where does the Bible say that we must stop sinning?????"

So I post (along with other verses)

1 Cr 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Why would you call posting what Paul has written, being as one under strong delusion.

How is that demonic?

Your false interpretation of the verse shows that you are under strong delusion. The Bible never ever says anything so stupid as "stop sinning" God would never demand anything so ridiculous and impossible of us.

You know that nobody in the entire history of mankind was ever able to stop sinning, you need to show me a single example of anyone who could do such a stupid thing. Then you would have a case, but as it stands, all you have is demonic doctrine and strong delusion.

I am awake to righteousness and I sin no more, because me sins are not counted against me. Christ took my past, present and future sins and made them His own so I'm not a slave to sin as those who are not saved. I have been set free of the law, so I'm not under the law.

Why would I surrender my will back to serve sin and Satan, when Christ purchased me at a very high price and set me free from the bondage of sin. It's really foolish of you to suggest that, any saved person would choose to go back to Satan's prison to serve Him and our old sin nature.

I still live in a body of death, so of' course the flesh still cries out to have it lusts fulfilled and like Paul of' course I wrestle against the flesh and like Paul, I also don't do that which I would like to do, but do that which I would not like to do, because I still get overwhelmed by temptation everyday. But that's not the same as giving myself over to sin and surrendering and planning to sin as the false Christians do.

You know that nobody in the entire history of mankind was ever able to stop sinning,

Paul wrote 13 Epistles. (most of the NT Epistles).
He never confessed a sin, in any of them.
Not once.
He never tells us to confess sin.

Why ?

Because Paul teaches that every Christian, can come to a place in their Faith, where they profoundly understand what it means to be born again.... and once this REAL FAITH has been developed, then this happens....

= You Put on your "Helmet of Salvation" every day.........that is= "Christ ALWAYS gives me the VICTORY"... over sin, the world, the flesh, and the devil...........Paul teaches.

There you go again, exposing your foolish delusion in plain sight. I asked you to show me a single verse in the bible which says something so stupid as "stop sinning"?????... You failed to find one so you tried to twist the meaning of other unrelated verses to make them fit your demonic doctrine.
Shem on you.

How did you arrive at the stupid interpretation that "sin not" means "stop sinning"???????????? how, only a deluded person would conclude that "sin not" means "stop sinning". My 5 year old nephew can tell you that "stop sinning" means that one is actually sinning, so they have to be told to stop. But "sin not" means one is actually not sinning and they are told not to go back to sinning.

I shouldn't have to teach you kindergarten stuff and feed you milk. You go back to your wolf in sheep's clothing, who taught your this rubbish and confront them.

You were just telling us that you sin ""every day."""
So, i guess your "wickednes" is still controlling you, and that is not real Christianity.
But it is real Christianity, just look at one of the greatest Christians of all time. He was controlled by sin. You really need to stop pushing this Satanic version of the gospel, which teaches it's victims that they can stop sinning. While the true gospel doesn't say any such evil thing.
