YOu forget this passage-Yes, I believe what Scripture teaches, and a person can lose their salvation and get it back ad-nauseum. God will forgive us 70x7 just like he asks us to forgive other 70x7. Apparantly you don't believe that?
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
And 70X7 doesn't mean a loss of salvation, just a cleansing of a child of God from their sins. You make god a more abusive parent than humans. Children can be rebellious as hell itself but they are still the children of their parents.
The unsaved have no free will. The saved have their free will restored. Only the sacved can choose to do right or wrong. The unsaved- even their good deeds are called filthy rags by god!The answer to your question is YES, I am a person. I have free will. You do not seem to believe in free will.
And you should do a linguistic study of this passage. It means living a lifestykle of sin. The saved will not! They may stumble and fall 70X7 in a day and are still saved. As i t is written in the Psalms, though the righteous stumble they will not fall.Paul writes to the Christians (people who already believe) in Cornith, Do not be deceived (which means one can believe and then be deceived) ...... wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God. Fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, male prostitutes, sodomites, thieves, the greedy, drunkards, revilers, robbers—none of these will inherit the kingdom of God. If you stop being deceived, you will inherit the kingdom of God. If you start being deceived again, you will not inherit the kingdom of God. Now I would remind you, brothers and sisters, of the good news that I proclaimed to you, which you in turn received, in which also you stand, through which also you are being saved, IF you hold firmly to the message that I proclaimed to you—unless you have come to believe in vain. If anyone among you wanders from the truth and is brought back by another, you should know that whoever brings back a sinner from wandering will save the sinner’s soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
And Paul in Romans 14:
Romans 14
King James Version
14 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
al;l I know is Gods word;
I am His sheep and follow Him- and He has given me eternal life
I was chosen before the foundation of the world to be holy
I shall never perish
No one (not even me) can pluck me out of His hand.
I am already justified,
I am perfected forever.
I an dead and hidden in Christ.
When Jesus appears, I will appear with him.
I am saddened you do not believe Jesus died and paid for all your sins. If you believe you can commit a sin and lose your salvation- then you do not believe Jesus became your sin as it is written and was punished by the Father in your place.
I pray you learn in the depths of your soul the deep unspeakable love of God! YOu have made a God the bible does not recognize.
If a person had to keep their salvation by doing X amount of righteous deeds, no one would be saved, because works are not he issue for salvation!
Ephesians 2:8-10
King James Version
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Romans 10:9-13
King James Version
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
You seem to not even understand a little the massive transformation that takes place when a sinner places their trust in the death and resurrection of Jesus for their sin!
A saved person will do good works! It just happens. Just like a guy who is in love with a girl, will do all to please her. Not to gain her affection, but because he has her affection.
I work not to stay saved or maintain my salvation or even to please God! I work because I am already saved, God is pleased withj me because of Jesus and He has given me a new heart with a new desire!
