[1Corinthians 14:34-35 KJV] 34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
In this verse women are to keep silence, What does this mean?
First of all look at the verse below. Men were also to keep silence, so this was not directed only to women.

Paul was setting order and instruction to speaking in tongues. Women were not to speak in tongues in the church.
Now as to verse 35 if a women learned anything to edify the church they should ask their husbands about it. It is the husband that should reveal it in the church. The women were not permitted to speak in the assembly.
Women were allowed to speak to other women in the church.[Titus 2:4 KJV] 4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
Women could labor in the ministry. [Philippians 4:3 KJV] 3 And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and [with] other my fellowlabourers, whose names [are] in the book of life.
