Paul's name would not be on the wall's foundation of the new Jerusalem because he was not a member of the church of the believing remnant of Israel. The remnant will inherit the holy city. Paul inherits the heavenly.

Foundation is good term. But the Christian foundation leaves Christianity incomplete.

The scriptures do not indicate that we should stop polygamy or concubinage or slavery and the scriptures do not require a wedding ceremony to be married.

We now consider polygamy and concubinage and slavery wrong and believe in church weddings to be married. The second rate status of women is slowly going away from Christian beliefs.
And over the years Christianity has adopted “a lot” of man-made sins.

So as it is today the beliefs of Christianity do not align with several foundational beliefs.

The twelve Apostles were Jewish-Christians, they still observed aspects of the Mosaic Laws and holidays and worshiped in the Temple.

Modern Christianity falls in the category of Gentile-Christians that do not observe Mosaic Laws, Jewish holidays, and we do not worship in Jewish synagogues. More or less the teachings of the Apostle Paul.

Paul's foundation is not his except that he laid it unto the Gentiles, yet what he laid was a foundation of Christ crucified.

As for what foundation the Church is built upon--certainly, it is Christ who sent the prophets of old by Word, as well as by His apostles, and by those sent to be prophets during the Church age.

However, that foundation being spiritual--of spiritual stones--is mostly unseen--as the Lord said of those born of the Spirit. Meaning, much of what is seen is not of that same spiritual foundation, but is born of the unbelief of "false teachers" in the early Church who not seeing in spirit, did not see the return of Christ in the flesh and began to preach another gospel not of the foundation of of Christ, but one of natural men looking for Christ to come again in the flesh in the distant future instead of "soon" or that "which must shortly take place." Which became the "lie" foretold by Paul that would and has caused "strong delusion."

the unification is not under Doctrine . no that had to be removed .
There was no way they could unify the denominations , OR false religoins
IF said denominations and said false religoins CLUNG to their docrtrines .
Of which , yeah i know there are errors in that .
HOWEVER when TRUTH is omitted , made to seem like distractions , to attain unity
Believe me that is NO UNITY the sheep want . THEY remolded much of christendom
and EVEN the false religoins from within . They preached love non stop , BUT it was not the LOVE of GOD
though as usual some truths were in it so it made it seem so .

Examine the twenty sixteen prayer they made .
It had pope franics speakng about all the worlds religoins .
IT had major leaders of them religoins as well .
The idea was they are all coming TO GOD their own way . Well the pope actually says this . LIE of anti christ right there .

it has a muslim , a buddist , a catholic and i think greek orthodox and etc
And then they all say GOD is love
God is love

You should understand that is the plan all along .
REMOLD the image of GOD into an image ALL RELIGOINS UNITE UNDER AS ONE .

But no its about being unequally yoked and they keep on pumping these suggestions into all religoins as well as christendome .

There are differing views in regard to the identity of the apostles and prophets.

Are the apostles such as Peter the foundation?

Are the old testament prophets likewise the foundation?

They both laid the foundation, which was Christ. The apostles preached Jesus as Christ, the Son of God, as well as the prophets. The prophets foretold his coming and his death and resurrection.

[1Pe 2:4-5 KJV] 4 To whom coming, [as unto] a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, [and] precious, 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Peter spoke of believing Israel as constituting a spiritual house. A house must have a foundation.

[Rev 21:14 KJV] 14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

The holy city of God identifies the twelve apostles as being the foundation.

[Eph 4:11-12 KJV] 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Christ revealed that there were apostles and prophets in the body of Christ church.

[Isa 28:16 KJV] 16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner [stone], a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

Without controversy, Christ is the chief cornerstone, no matter what foundation is laid.

Having laid the foundation, God grows his building.

The building is composed of the believing saints.

Paul says that by grace, he has laid the foundation.

How can Paul say he has laid a foundation when scripture says the foundation was laid upon the apostles and the prophets?

I contend that there are two foundations.

Peter and the apostles, and the prophets laid their foundation in God's household.

Paul laid his foundation in God's household.

God's building is built upon these two foundations.

There can be no other foundation laid but Christ Jesus.

[EPHESIANS 2:22 KJV] 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

The body of Christ, and the believing remnant of Israel are built together to be an habitation of God.

[Eph 3:14-15 KJV] 14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

The family of God is composed of those in heaven and earth. The believing remnant of Israel, and the body of Christ occupy heaven and earth. Both entities have Christ as their foundation.

Sorry but the bible says there is only one foundation, one body and one building!

I would not give two cents for the Vatican. But friends don't let friends live in ignorance. You need to talk to few Catholics here in the states. Granted you will still have culture shock but it is not anything like the Vatican.

Most Catholic will not have anything good to say about any other religion.

Most Protestants will not have anything good to say about any other religion.

And only a certain percentage supports Israel and the Jews.
