I have been inundated with many Youtube videos about the Rapture happening on Sept. 23-24, 2025. But many of them seemed fake, fabrications generated by AI.
This is popular now, AI generated stories or ads that are very articulate, creative as if written by a Phd in Journalism. Adults and children telling stories of accidents, (NDE's), going to heaven, seeing Jesus and returning to give us a message can't possibly all express themselves like Hemingway with a keen knowledge of the Bible.
AI can develop a story as one prompts it with particular parameters, styles, in line with Biblical truths in such a brilliant way - in seconds - with access to and information sifted from 5 billion books. It is quite amazing. But that is the flaw in it, it is not communicated in a common way.
So after listening to many of these fake AI stories that are usually generated for monetary purposes, which have all taken advantage of this date to attract attention, I just about dismissed the whole idea. Btw, it is the Feast of Trumpets on Tuesday - which many have supposed the last trumpet would be part of.
I woke up this morning and a notion came to me. When did these stories start appearing? Recently, most of them in August and September this year. But where did they get this idea? There must have been an original claim, with a real person talking and giving his account. And I found one story. The difference is, this one is not a near death experience, it was a 2018 Vision by this South African Christian named Joshua.
I don't know at this point if he is the real deal ... but maybe? But his story is interesting, it doesn't seem fabricated, he doesn't sound like a liar. What say you?
Don't mean to freak you out ... I mean I have been talking about this for 25 years and anticipating His return. And so I feel like the boy who cried wolf enough times and after a while, when a wolf really came, nobody would believe him.
Just pray everyday, ask Him to bless your family and keep you safe. Be thankful for what God has given you. He will return soon. ??? Please read 1 Cor. 15:51-55 & 1 Thes. 4:16-17
BTW, this goes against my belief sbout the timing of last trumpet, which I have for years believed it was the 7th Trumpet in Rev. 11:15. Oh well.

*** PREMILLENNIAL SAFE ZONE, NO AMILLENNIALS PLEASE!

***Addendum SEPT. 30:
The dates have come and gone and most believe Joshua's prediction to be false. However, a new lifeline has been thrown to Joshua ... who was dillisioned and confused! IF the Old Julian calendar used for 1500 years is used during Jesus' time, those dates are 13 days behind the Gregorian Calendar. Sounds erroneous! Oh well, no skin off my back ...
I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. The full moon (a super and harvest moon), will appear at 6:47 AM Jerusalem time on the 7th. So on the 9th, I will call it what it is, the rest of you have already made up your mind.

I gave it like 5 minutes research only, but it seems that it originated with Joel Osteen 2017 viral video clip, which snowballed on social media and blog posts and internet added various numerology and "prophecies" into it and it resulted in September 23, 2017 date.

It looks like the September 23, 2025 date is just some kind of social media reiteration of the same thing.

That's easy. The Rapture of the Church is neither Pretrib nor Imminent (in the sense it can happen on any day). A simple reading of 2 Thes 2 will inform you that before Christ comes for his Church the Antichrist must appear 1st. Then, we are told when Christ will come. It will be when he comes back from heaven to destroy Antichrist with the breath of his mouth. That is Postrib, my friend! There is a reason you are always wrong.

Emm, how pompous! Let's see, if I posted this 44 minutes ago and you responded 23 minutes later, that means you did not watch the video!
A wise man would agree that the man's case should be heard before a judgment can be made. Obviously, you judge first, allowing no room for any other view.

I don't mind being wrong, just mind people who are rude. I don't recall engaging in any recent debates with you. What do you di, just sit back, read my post and smirk to yourself without a challenge? But this is not my view, I SAID I wasn't sure about it and actually that it went against my view. I just presented it and asked for feedback.
Since you didn't even examine the prophecy well, you are excluded from any dialogue with me on the subject.

Actually, it's pompous for you to judge, as if you know how quickly I judge this issue. I memorized 2 Thessalonians in the early 70s, and doing that caused me to change from Pretrib to Postrib. I could not deny what I was memorizing and reading!

From that time to now I've read and heard everything I need to know on the subject. I'm not judging your position prematurely. I do not need to listen to any videos. I've heard it all, with the exception I refused to read Dwight Pentecost's large book. I did read Walvoord's book, however.

I wasn't rude. I only appeared rude to you. I just told you what I believe, and it was an easy deal for me since I've dealt with this for over 50 years! If you're so sensitive that dismissing your position causes you to run, by all means--run for the exit. I have zero hostility for you, and have been in Pretrib Rapture churches nearly all my life.

If Christ indicated we should not set dates for his Return, and you continue to do so, you will *always* be wrong. That is not saying you're wrong on everything or on other subjects. You will always be wrong if you guess a day Christ will come back, and he indicated that cannot happen. If you want to call that rude, you need to examine your attitude. If you want people to watch videos that run contrary to what Christ taught, you are wrong to demand it.

You can add me to list too because as soon as he said "in 14 days the rapture will take place" I knew I was dealing with a false teacher. Jesus said no man can know the day or the hour but this guy thinks he knows the day. Shades of Harold Camping Batman!:sotired

I watched a portion of the video (I did not care for the speaker's over confidence). Time will tell whether he is correct or not. If not, then he is going to lose a lot of credibility. The speaker made some misleading statements to indicate that the wrath of God will begin right after the speaker's projected September 23, 2025 rapture day.

There are many You Tube videos concerning the speculation of September 23, 2025 being the day of the rapture.

Matthew 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Seriously, why are you listening to this false prophet on YouTube promoting September 23-24 2025 rapture based on "a vision he claims to have had?" He said he saw JESUS ON A THRONE and told him that He is coming. Huh?? His fellowers are going to be very disappointed after the 25th. And yes, I will have a word with you @ronald!

He didn't sound like a liar to me. He dod not claim to be a prophet, just a messenger. The Bible states t ha in the end times there would Christians who dream dreams and receive visions. So are they all fabricated? Many are but not all. He sounds like a true Christian who has knowledge of the Bible. The additional insight about the falling away was different. The mark/chip/injection may also change your DNA. A doctor spoke of the Covid 19 vaccine as human 2.0 project, creating hybrid humans who can be better controlled. This man is not a pastor, not doing this for money, so what would his motivation be for lying about something that he knew would not happen and prove him wrong? How shameful and embarrassing to set yourself up like that. Still I am skeptical, which is why I asked for other's opinions.

We will find out on the 25th. :-)

Change our DNA, eh?

I got the COVID-19 vaccine (and booster ones), yet my hair did not grow faster.

COVID-19 vaccine creates hybrid humans? You fell for more silly speculations.

He will be officially a false prophet coming 25th

How shameful and embarrassing to set yourself up like that.

Not really. Don't tell me that I did not warn you before. You will be the one to be ashamed and embarrassed for giving him some credit!

Jesus made that statement when He was alive. After He rose from the dead, His glory returned. After He ascended into heaven, He was given the scroll and He opened it - so then He knew. During His earthly mission, He relinquished His glory and did not know. You don't think Our Lord knows now? And this is the generation that all these things will come to pass. He left us signs to look for. We'll see.
The interesting report I heard today was that Jerusalem would be blowing 100 shofars and televising it to the world on the 24th, the second day of the Feast of Trumpets. This will create a stir among all the anti-simites in the world- especially now since they are accusing Israel of genocide. And another event is scheduled for this time, a UN meeting! This will be a time when every eye could not only see the shofars sound an alarm, but also maybe a surprise appearance of Jesus when every eye could see Him descending too. ?? We'll see.

Posting stuff on this forum is like rolling dice. People agree, but mostly disagree. No shame is suffered for merely sharing information. I'm not a Pastor or Professor leading people astray. No cost, no debt, no harm and no foul. This is just speculative stuff. Eschatology contains many views which are opposing - as we often end up with. Actually there are no qualified teachers on this forum that can influence me or anyone else. So lightened up.

If it is not information, but you are falling for and spreading misinformation, then yes, it is a shame. From what you said in your OP, you are even falling for the same kind of misinformation constantly for decades. Time to learn?

We are probably all guilty of spreading/repeating some false information, but it does not mean it is OK and without any shame.
