Exactly. Some people get upset as soon as they see the word "rapture". We know what the event is we are talking about.
Joshua is describing these "visions". I'm not even sure he understands what they all are. One of them he says the people left behind in the tribulation are chased down and eaten by demons. He says he saw a teenager caught by a demon, and the demon says this is my lunch. He might be describing what he saw as a representation of the great feast of God Almighty. What happens in Revelation 18 and 19.
In Revelation 18 there is a vision of the fall of Babylon. It talks about a hideout for every foul vulture and every foul and dreadful animal. Dreadful animals. "Foul" vultures, where the word for "foul" is used for unclean spirits, bad angels (in twenty-three passages of the Gospels, Acts, and Revelation) Demons.
""And he called out with a mighty voice, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast.
Then in Revelation 19 it talks about the great feast of God Almighty where birds are eating the people remaining on earth:
""Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to all the birds that fly directly overhead, “Come, gather for the great supper of God, to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great.”
I always thought this would be just regular carrion birds, but when you look at the preceding chapter, the "foul" birds, and detestable beasts take on a demonic presence. Where it has become a home for demons. She has become a hideout for every foul spirit. Could this be the scenario where the demons take over the birds, and the beasts, and become every unclean and detestable beast, eating the flesh of those who are remaining on the earth?
Even Daniel didn't understand everything that he was seeing in the visions God showed him, not even John did. Remember when one of the elders asked John who are these coming out of tribulation?
"Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, “Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have they come?” I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
John's like I don't know, "Sir, you know". Like why don't you tell me? You would know better than me.
Peaceful Sabbath.
