Really? How stupid and blasphemous.Which in no way proves or indicates that God is the One that caused Judas to turn against Jesus as the calvinists claim.

Really? How stupid and blasphemous.Which in no way proves or indicates that God is the One that caused Judas to turn against Jesus as the calvinists claim.
I have never come across a Calvinist who claims That God caused Judas to betray Jesus. The bible tells us that the crucifixion of Jesus, and all that accompanied it, was foretold in Scripture, but not that God caused Judas to betray Him.Which in no way proves or indicates that God is the One that caused Judas to turn against Jesus as the calvinists claim.
Really? How stupid and blasphemous.

The post just before mine said, "Really? How stupid and blasphemous.." It seems a stretch to go from that to your belief that Calvinists in general claim that God caused Judas Iscariot to betray Jesus.Apparently there's one in the post just before yours...
Maybe you could PM this person and straighten them out... or they could ask their husband to provide teaching that is actually from scripture.

Where do you get the "most people?" Calvinists are no different to anybody else in the matter of us not knowing who or how many will be saved. As for God wanting people to burn in hell, according to what we find in the Scriptures, all people by nature deserve only wrath and punishment from God. That is what makes salvation in Jesus Christ so wonderful. It's no stretch for calvinists who believe God wants most people to burn in hell and created them for no other purpose than to go to hell. All 5 points of calvinism are heresy and cannot be proven from God's Word unless they engage in scripture twisting and ignoring scripture don't like because it doesn't fit their false teachings.
In the end the calvinists are going to find out what the Lord meant when He put in His Word that heresy is one of the things that cause people to not be accepted in His Kingdom.
So the calvinists are going to experience themselves what they claim will happen to most people and it serves them right not accepting all of what God's Word teaches and following the wisdom of evil men rather than following the Wisdom of God.
Calvinists are no different to anybody else in the matter of us not knowing who or how many will be saved.
Calvinists certainly do not believe that God is a liar. They do believe the verses which talk about God not being willing that any should perish. But they also believe that God's word says that not everybody will be saved (sheep and goats, heaven and hell, etc.)The calvinists teach so called "limited atonement" as they claim God lied in His Word when He said it was His will that none perish.
The calvinists literally believe God is a liar which is evident because they refuse to accept all the Lord says in His Word on this topic.
They got that from their father the devil who always claims God's Word is not true.
I would suggest that calling fellow posters children of the devil is wrong.
They do believe the verses which talk about God not being willing that any should perish.
But they also believe that God's word says that not everybody will be saved
The doctrines I believe may be similar to what Calvin believed, but I don't believe them because Calvin taught them, but because I find things such as God's election before the foundation of the earth, predestination, and the perseverance of the saints, taught in the bible. I had not even heard of Calvin when I first believed those doctrines. Those following calvinist heresy should REPENT and ask the Lord to forgive them for being tricked by the devil in to following a different "jesus" and another "gospel"
But don't we all (unless we are universalists, as you say below) believe in limited atonement, in that only those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ are saved, atoned for?No, actually they do not.
If they did they would not be teaching limited atonement.
I am certainly not trying to whitewash anything, just seeking to explain that what I believe is based on Scripture.Only universalists believe that
You must not be too knowledgeable concerning what calvinism actually teaches.
Or, you are trying to white wash calvinism so others will think it's all good when it's heresy
But don't we all (unless we are universalists, as you say below) believe in limited atonement, in that only those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ are saved, atoned for?
Surely we can discuss things without unpleasantness.
That seems to be a commonly-held but false idea about Calvinism. Calvinism does not say that only a few are saved. Calvinists, like other Christians, believe what we are told in Revelation about there being a multitude which no man can number in heaven.Limited atonement means when Jesus went to the Cross it was only for a few.
It would be a false doctrine if Calvinists believed and taught that only a few are saved. But they don't as I said.God's Word does not teach that. The calvinists do though as they follow doctrines of demons
Yes, but Calvinism is bible-based, not a doctrine of demons.Doctrines of demons are not to be discussed.... they need to be corrected as they are works of darkness.
Ephesians 5:11
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
No I don't know what a cult teaches, because I am not in a cult. I do know what Calvinism teaches, and it certainly doesn't teach that only few are saved, as you claim it does. Far from trying to fool people, I am attempting to correct your false ideas of what Calvinism is.Well, you don't even know what the calvinist cult teaches...
You might be able to fool some, but you cannot fool me as I've seen the doctrines of devils that these people espouse
You really should take some time off and do a deep dive in to what the calvinist cult actually believes.
It is Gods will that some perish. 2 Pet 3:9 is limited to His Elect, but in the passage before, it reads this V7The calvinists teach so called "limited atonement" as they claim God lied in His Word when He said it was His will that none perish.
The calvinists literally believe God is a liar which is evident because they refuse to accept all the Lord says in His Word on this topic.
They got that from their father the devil who always claims God's Word is not true.
No, they do not claim God lied. The calvinists teach so called "limited atonement" as they claim God lied in His Word when He said it was His will that none perish.
No, they do not literally believe God is a liar. The calvinists literally believe God is a liar which is evident because they refuse to accept all the Lord says in His Word on this topic.
Your hatred towards Calvinists is obvious and unChristian. They got that from their father the devil who always claims God's Word is not true.
Actually it was for many. And it was effectual, it saved the many He went to the Cross todie for.Mark 10:45Limited atonement means when Jesus went to the Cross it was only for a few.
I do know what Calvinism teaches
Here's a quote from R.C. Sproul who was one of the leading advocates for calvinism and he is claiming here that the Lord only went to the Cross for the elect... so he too is a false teacher who claims John 3:16 is a lie as he engages in subterfuge to make Calvinism seem like it doesn't teach what it does teach which is doctrines of devils.I am attempting to correct your false ideas of what Calvinism is.
