No it hasn’t been approved, it has to go through parliament and there are many many people against it , the last government tried it and it was blocked. I believe the prime minister is bringing it up in a speech today - that’s why it hit the news yesterday.

Digital ID will never work for western thinkers. There will be flaws and work arounds. One size never fits all. I'll bite though; how do you prove a digital ID?

I had to google what digital Id was. It is on your phone. Gee. That will not work, because you or someone else can clone your phone. It's easier than you think. Remember when you bought a new phone and set it next to your old phone and, viola, your new phone is cloned. Crooks can activate a clone sitting next to someone.

That is probably the most important issue going on right now.
If people comply with this like they did with covid and the vax then life as we know it is over.
they will make it happen they will say it is for "security purposes" and convenience.

Only if they can secure your phone from being cloned and people remember their phone. Many don't carry a phone.
I agree this is the mark of the beast or a prelude to it, the objective is control, this is evident, here in Quebec during the pandemic our government were about to implement a fine to people who did not want to get the killer COVID vaccine. they never did but it was very close. imagine with such digital dollar, they can lock your bank accounts until you get vaccinated... this is coming they will force compliance.

you are right, they will think of another way. personally I do nor carry a phone as of now if i get one it will be for when I take a roadtrip and that is all.

RealID laws were passed back in 2012 in the US but people would not comply so they stopped trying to force it. Now so many people have voluntarily complied that Trump is now forcing it on us.
When I refused the RealID when I got my license renewed a couple of months ago, everybody in the BMV office looked at me like I committed a murder.
It is going to be hard and we are going to suffer but it is US THINKING HUMAN BEINGS that have to take a stand for our children and grandchildren.
