If Jesus told you to give compassionate care to a young gay man dying of AIDS, would you

Define "compassionate care".

a. Do it because it would make Jesus happy?
b. Do it because Jesus will send you to Hell if you don't?
c. Not do it because the young man is going to Hell anyway?
d. Not do it because you don't do compassion.

The above situation actually happened to a rather conservative Christian author. The young man in question had heard all the threats of hellfire and damnation, and they just hardened his heart. Seeing Jesus's compassion through the actions one of His followers was different. The young man came to faith in Christ.

I would certainly advise him that gays will burn in Hell forever. Jesus said so. Now that's Christian compassion!

Taking him to medical appointments. Bringing meals for him. Running errands. Basic cleaning and simple home medical care. Listening to him when he's down and needs someone to talk to. Maybe pay a few of his bills. You know - "Good Samaritan" stuff.

Will be saved, keep life in his soul forever.

They WHO are tormented FOREVER are THEY who are against God, but can never die…Fallen angels.

God does NOT save the soul or rebirth the spirit of a man AGAINST Him…
He removes the body’s Life- blood.
He removes the souls life—Gods Breath.
He never gives a man against Him “Gods Seed”

The man against God is completely Without Life (body, soul, spirit) and destroyed.

I think the important thing is to realize the potential IS there and that we should stay in the game trying to reach that goal. Running the race and playing the game so as to try and WIN it.

Or, for me, it's more about this day, this hour. Yes, the race is life long, but I need to focus on my next footstep. My life is build of many moments, so I want this moment to be good.

I should ask you the same thing - why are YOU obsessed with gays?

Take a look at the story of Jesus and the rich young ruler in Matthew 19:16-30, Mark 10:17-31, and Luke 18:18-30. Obedience to God is a lot harder than he thought. This is why Jesus concluded, "With men this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible."

Then the question becomes, how do we work with God to make us truly obedient in this life? (Assuming you want to be truly obedient.)
