That's some heavy stuff man....it makes me have fear...and I hope it's not just a fearful looking to judgement. I mean, who then can be saved?
These things are easily seen from Scripture, here is one example:
Colossians 3:1-8 KJV
1) If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2) Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3) For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4) When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
5) Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
6) For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
7) In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
8) But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
This passage speaks to the one who is raised with Christ, having died with Christ, and now is "hid with Christ in God" in the heavenly realm.
It tells us that when Christ appears, we shall also appear with Him in glory.
These things are well attested in other passages. And what does God say to these, who are resurrected with Christ, who will appear with Him in glory?
5) Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
6) For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
7) In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
Kill the parts of you that are on the earth. You used to do these things, don't do then any longer.
Right back to the instruction from Scripture that our good works come from being regenerate, and that while we are admonished to do what is good and not what is evil, even so we are promised to appear with Jesus.
Much love!
