You cant be that bad, sheesh, its just a line and some food on a hook. Theres no other need for us than casting the line in and reeling it back in once something is on it clfh

I don't understand how anyone can even be a bad fisherman
Easy, when the fish are not biting, you don't catch anything.
You also have to know where they go, they swim all over the place.
Then there are these 'dead zones', where the water is anoxic, oxygen levels are lower, the fish avoid that.
Fish also have to eat, so they go where they can find food.
Fish are also migratory, they come and go with the seasons.

I know the hype....but construction work is heavy labor that requires creativity for workarounds constantly. More weight than a robot can lift and move and needing more creativity than their flat stories published everywhere.
Well, there was a video out several years back that showed these really tall humanoids setting railroad ties and tracks, I have been unable to find it and others like it, again. It did not at all look fake but, either way they can design these things anyway they want, large, small...and all that need be done is programming so, what is the difference? My gut say's they are way further than they let on to the public...JMHO coffee:

You must have had some bad experiences because you are making fishing sound absolutely hopeless over here

And Simon/Scott answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing clfh

Now this is the kind of fishing that can be self sustaining when it come to paying taxes

Matt 17:27 ... go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of moneypplh that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

Can you imagine? I am so glad that is written.

Of course they are.
My father worked for HP back when they designed the computers for the moon landing. (It was a struggle then)

But just a few years later they already were inventing hard drives the size of a credit card and postage stamp and smaller.....while on television you saw the old fashioned ones the size of refrigerators with big spools of tapes.
They didn't have a product to put them in....until laptops and modern cell phones were created....but they did have them created. It took 30+ years for those hard drives to get utilized.

Just because they have an invention it doesn't mean that it's practical or viable yet.

Currently the robots available for sale and use are $9k ea and can only work for 2 hours. (Charging station not included) the programming required for daily tasks is also very expensive.

So....probably requires around $60k all total to replace 1 worker for 8 hr day. In a car manufacturing plant....that can work out well. (Automakers earn 90-200k ea). In a barrista position? Uhhhhh.....nope....can't and won't.

UAW has had serious worries and concerns as industrial robots have been able to replace workers for decades. But the Big 3 are mostly owned through stock by the Union and not the employee union members or retirees. They have known that the end of actually needing people to build cars has been a reality. Most manufacturing positions at a car plant are retained by collective bargaining agreements....not necessity. The old GM/Saturn plant in Spring Hill TN can turn out 90 cars per hour....24 hours per day.
But they ALWAYS run out of parts and stop producing. Same thing with Ford....same with Chrysler. Logistics for car manufacturers are a nightmare. A $5 part on backorder can, will, and has often held up an entire plant.

If this story is to be believed, robotics in China factories are assembling cars, engines, phones with little human oversite.
And doing it so cheap, western companies say they cannot compete.
An entire factory runs in the dark?
And tech product innovation is out competing what western countries can do, for now.

Industrial robots are not simple to produce for cheap....then there's the maintenance and retooling and reprogramming.

Robotics maintenance is a great field to get into for young people. Steady income stream and lots of work. Knowledge of Pneumatics, electronics and etc are musts in this field. But I'd dare say it pays well.

I think a lot of these claims mix real progress with a lot of hype. AI is moving fast, no doubt, but calling it “supreme intelligence” by 2030 feels more like a headline than a realistic timeline, especially when you see how often models still mess up basic context or common sense.

From my experience using different tools, AI is great as an assistant, not a decision-maker. Governments will use it for analysis and automation, but humans will still be responsible when things go wrong. At the end of the day, this is about power, control, and regulation in a changing world. The tech matters, but how people choose to use it matters more.

Is this thing for single use? It doesn't have landing gear...
that vid shows it landing back on it's launcher. This could be a problem, it it can't get back to a launch platform. I suppose they think it will go on mission and return to home base, but what if home base is wiped out.

I think multiple launchers is the fix. If one area is out, plan b to another area, even on a ship.

The context of Rev 13 is very different and more in keeping with the story of Elijah where God sent fire down out of heaven to consume all of Elijah's sacrifice on the altar of stone that Elijah had built for his demonstration of the Greatness of God.
They have grid mapped out the entire surface of the earth into untold squares of ten-square-meters each. Each square is uniquely numbered and militarily referred to as one or more components of a Kill Box. They have the ability to "send fire down out of heaven" (another counterfeit miracle, a lying wonder, but effective nonetheless) on any number of squares. The perp's are nearly finished with automating A.I. Imagine the possibilities on both an individual level and a regional level...

I see the fire as being related to the grandeur and ability of God to perform miracles and wonders.
Spot on, which is why Satan would want to co-opt such a miracle, to appear "like the most High" (Isa. 14:14).

They have AI robot dogs loaded with fire power too. Imagine crowd control soon. Everyone's face captured on camera and hunted down.
45 years ago, the U.S. Marines already had what we referred to as "dog man." As a member of a 4-man squad, when it became impossible to safely proceed further against an adversary, dog man would shed his clothes and stealthily, quickly, on all fours, proceed to the objective and accomplish the kill while fully deploying the weaponized superior prey abilities of a dog. When he returned, he would redress and rejoin the squad. The guy was genetically modified, quite hairy, face looked more doglike than human.

I realize the majority will not comprehend this, but it is true. Point: THIS IS OLD TECH.

They have non lethal crowd control weapons. It makes people feel like they are burning and they have to get away.
They can aim it at a giant crowd, and thousands will flee away.
Here at New Zealand, protestors at the capitol of Wellington were irradiated with the "non lethal" weapon. Google it and have a party (Warning: many gross images of burned faces). The perp's waited several days, until after the fair weather folks went home, then they irradiated the remaining hard core folks. Never once did the perp's inside The Beehive (the common name for the Executive Wing of New Zealand Parliament Buildings) show their own faces.

The Beehive:

They have found it can lie though to achieve a goal.
and
I am still in control of what I do with the information.
...but you're still dealing with a liar...

The creepy part is digital Identification being required for daily life. Such as purchasing groceries or gas or anything.

You go to work regularly but then you can't make payments to your mortgage or buy groceries

Then you are homeless and starving
Precisely their plan. So if you have suspicions about the current and future system, STOP HOLDING IT UP.

Make it into a houseboat, push out to sea, and live off all the fish you catch.
If you live near the water, then it would be a mistake to discount that as a food source just because the supermarket has been designed to be "easier."

Free house, free food and no real estate taxes.
It's taken me many years and a lot of sweat equity. It's not a destination, it's a lifestyle. Actually, I have been a "prepper" since the 90's. In the bush, next to a creek, the ocean nearby. No rent, organic garden, no taxes. Point: It can be done, if you start sooner rather than later.

It is big enough two people could live on it.
It has an apartment fridge, a shower, bath, head, kitchen with microwave, heat and AC and a 6500 watt generator.
I am awful bad fisherman, I would starve.
Scott Downey, you have a skill set. If I asked you to make a list of the talents you have, I bet it would be quite substantial and/or very useful in an off-grid community setting. Never mind that the current system is set up to ensure that you do not actually get to use those skills, but YOU HAVE THEM nonetheless.

If you start investing in relationships with your neighbors rather than in your ephemeral Bitcoin, you may find other like-minded folks who also smell a rat and are wise enough to have started doing something about it already. The longer one waits, the more doors of opportunity will close...

You cant be that bad, sheesh, its just a line and some food on a hook. Theres no other need for us than casting the line in and reeling it back in once something is on it clfh
Yeah, it's not difficult. Better still, run out a trotline. A trotline is a long, anchored fishing line with many baited hooks or baits attached at intervals, used passively to catch fish like catfish or crabs, often stretched across a river or set along the bottom, and checked periodically by "trotting" along it in a boat or pulling it in. It's a "force multiplier" in an off-grid scenario, an awesome protein source.

Their AI system is called Hivemind
From the Egyptians' worship of their sacred bee to NZ's Beehive, there is no new thing under the sun.
