Hi there,
So something that opened my mind up, to God's sense of justice, is that there is a reason that God lets people go to Hell - they don't get there with nothing to praise God for. It's not a very complicated event, actually, people go to Hell because they lack faith. But lacking faith, doesn't mean they don't have the means to praise God - it means that despite having the means to praise God, they still did not have faith. Well so what is God supposed to do, He still deserves praise, He just needs to ensure that the one giving the praise, has no need of changing. The fact that people going to Hell praise God, gives them a reason to stay in Hell, until such time as God is satisfied with the praise - then their debt to God is wiped and it is as if they had never been born.
Now, notice that I am not saying 'what sort' of praise God desires; God's praise is something that you have to cultivate with imagination, it has to come from the heart. The power of it will vary; as will the effect on the enemy. There is always a chance that the one praising will grow to love the God they are praising, too. This is the Justice of God: that every Man's praise, will be his own. You can't fight praise, with more praise - that's like stealing someone's bank account number, but only being able to put money in (not access it). [I suppose you can see why I have posted this in the Unorthodox Theology section - its a bit 'out there'] The point is that people singing God's praises on the way to Hell, can inspire the praise of God, of those in Heaven.
Heaven has a chance at redeeming the love of those whose praise reach God, through the Lord. God's praise is not wasted, in other words, it has an effect on people - both the praiser and the one hearing the praise. There is a reason to believe the praise will be heard, that God may change His mind about sending people to Hell. Certainly, God gets nothing from those who die, as the Psalms say (from memory). If anything praise coming from those going to Hell, may empower God all the more - He can't change the warning about going to Hell, that everyone's conscience gives them, but He can show His Love to those whom He foreknew would be tempted with sin, and therefore Hell.
Anyway, I hope this has been of some encouragement - if people's praise on the way to Hell is heard, certainly yours is!
God bless.
