While I can appreciate knowing that the Spirit of Christ in us will use ways and means of revelation outside of what is written, I also know that anything we say is of the Spirit of Christ must be weighed against that which is written. We know what is written and have blessed assurance of what is written not because the Bible is our idol, but because the Word tells to search the Scriptures, and that is that which God has providentially given us in written form. It is through the Scriptures, the written Word of God that "the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."

John 5:39 (KJV) Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

2 Timothy 3:15-17 (KJV) And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Agreed. Some of God's expressed thoughts have been written down and have been compiled into a book. We also know that on many occasions not only individual words have been added and taken away but whole books have been.

So what people consider as scripture is hotly debated to this day. Sorry, hotly debated by humans not God, as These 3 are in agreement, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost.

The positive truth is that God's words have been expressed to us since He met with Adam and Eve in His garden. God is not mute. He continues to communicate new truths with His children who He loves.

The only way man can know while clothed in bodies of sin and death is to test the Spirit/spirit against what is written. What has been written will either confirm that it is of the Spirit of Christ, or it will confirm another spirit is working through that human nature within man where there will always be a struggle between the new man in Christ, and the old man, natural nature that we all continue to struggle against our whole lives.

This could be true. But though I have full and complete confidence that what God says is truth, whether it is written down or not, I am not so confident in humans or demons interpretation of what God says. The thousands of bible using denominations clearly reveal this.

Since you say you know the Bible after many years, if this is true you should speak all the sacrificial Lamb of God says about being the ransom for sin. You are only speaking in part about who and why some will have part in lake of fire that is the second death.

This sounds very noble and honoring to God, but the written Word of God instructs us to give those who are lost in darkness and death the whole council of God. Not just that part that makes them feel good. If the Christ, you present only speaks of God's mercy, but denies God's justice, then you are not speaking a word from the Spirit of Christ, but one from another spirit.

I don't go to the bibles first. I go to the Spirit of our Creator. If He brings to remembrance what He's said in the past, be it to me directly yesterday, or through Moses thousands of years ago then I'm all ears. It's an ongoing process, we know how his story ends, in the Lake of Fire. But let's start with the beginning, angel satan rebelled and in his pride wanted to overthrow God, the idea alone is ridiculous. And yet he got many angels on his side, it is said 1/3 of them. That's huge. How did he managed that? From Job and Gen 3 we know how he operates, lies and accusations. The Lord God created the Lake of fire for punishment but he started to accuse God of being unloving, not righteous, a tyrant and more of such. And the Lord God said to all of His creatures in heaven (fallen and remained loyal), I will show the opposite, that I am loving, righteous, and not a tyrant, and after that you do go into the Lake of Fire, your final destination.

What I am saying is, it's not only about this forum, not only about our rotten world, but also what happened in heaven when the devil rebelled. Ever wondered why the Lord God not immediately threw the devil and his minions into the Lake of Fire? The above brainstorm could be an explanation.

I guess that the lake of fire is only mentioned in 1 book in the bible. And this book was omitted, added, removed and added again numerous times.
