They won't allow you say the truth, cuz they love to lie.

God made Jesus Christ in his own image.

I dont want to accuse anyone of anything, but I did look up if KJVer's had problems clashing with the Nicene creeder's

And a search came up saying

People who prefer the King James Bible often adhere to the Nicene Creed, as both are associated with traditional Christian orthodoxy.

And I know it says something in the creed like, "begotten not made" (which is sort of chicken scratched beside one of the verses in John 1 )
as if contrasting between equal words "verbs versus verbs" but I think it scratched in by an adjective "only begotten" there which is not a verb there. I gotta look at it again.

Words have meanings, it is the point of language.

Exactly, and in the definition itself we see both made and become there, and both work perfectly (have for me for all these years)

Not all of us are the sharpest tools in the shed and I am okay with that

1 Cr 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called

And if God has chosen some of the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, I highly doubt he is impressed with the wisdom of words

We always said, women made babies, we understood what that meant
Jesus "made to be a baby" is not about the creation of the Logos, anyway. So the whole conversation about the verse is irrelevant for the issue, no matter how you translate that.

Do you speak multiple languages or just one?

Nah, the KJV says he was made of a woman made under the law, it doesnt say he was made a baby, although he was a baby.

I am not a word snob, so I kind of get a kick out of people getting in a huff over words found in an actual bible clfh

I didnt translate it, far more educated men then myself did, I just quote it while strangers on the internet do a hair flip and make fun of what these guys put down, so they can inform me of their superior translations.

I am used to it lol

In Greek, the word "made" is "epoiésen" and the word "became" is "egeneto". If you understand how translation works, then you know that words are not mapped 1:1 between different languages, so you must not translate it as some old lexical robot (it will confuse readers), but to translate the contextual meanings.

I think I will stick to the KJV, and the word made, I am too old for changing my ways on it

Stick to whatever translation you want, but if it leads you to believe that the Logos was created, you should not prefer your old age as something more important than the basic Christian teaching.

John 1:1 (KJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Amen! Jesus is God.

If you feel the King James Version violates that for you then dont read it
