Why not just compare spiritual truths and not get so hung up on the words, for example

Deut 32:31 For their rock H6697 is not as our Rock H6697, even our enemies themselves being judges.

Which rock is the most truest rock

I mean we know HE is and OURS is not THEIRS but the word in both is tsuwr

So I often find it is a waste, of time, and think, man....

WHERE IS THE SCRIBE?? clfh (hath not God made foolish, sort of thing lol)
I have no idea what you tried to say.

You said, " For example the light of new knowledge about the term Logos is not the same as the light you get from a street lamp."

In the beginning when God said "Let there be light" that was neither the sun or the moon or the stars, but before those tangible created things, so it cannot even be compared to a street lamp anyway.

Which is likely why Paul pulls use of the same light in Genesis into 2 Cr 4:6

2 Cr 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Now this isnt a literal street lamp, but called a lamp and light unto our path

Psalm 119: 105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

As using words and looking up their definitions that does not always work which was what I was showing in the use of "Rock"

Deut 32:31 For their rock H6697 is not as our Rock H6697, even our enemies themselves being judges.

Good luck looking at the word and trying to figure out things that way through word definitions is what I was pointing out.

I think you can use the Sun, I found an example

Mal 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Well, you must understand that Genesis 1 is not a technical/scientific description. It is a conceptual creation drama.

The ancient author presents God creating the concept of light first and that is why he called it a day, already. The Sun etc. were mentioned to be made later, for people, for the light on Earth, for time, calendar, signs.

I do know that, but those who go nuts over the use of certain words as I shared do not, so I am trying to get into their heads about why they do the things they do. But at the same time I dont want (for myself) whatever they think they might have.

I was just putting those things out there to invite critique according to the mindset I thought you were of concerning being offended at using certain words or perhaps places that might be considered "no go" places, so I can understand that mindset more.

I have to ask, what do you mean by an ancient author?

You do or do not believe men wrote as the Spirit did the authoring?

Do this one!

God sent His Son, MADE of a Woman (Gal 4:4)

Because how can that be, God sent his Son BECOME of a Woman pplh
God sent Himself in the flesh. He can do that!

1 Timothy 3:16
16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

Jesus is God!

No, it is not, in English. Made is made and became is became. Different meanings.
Yes, but the New Testament was originally written in Greek, and the Greek word has various meanings, as is seen from the Strong's entry on the word:

"1096. ginomai [ghin -om-ahee;] a prolongation and middle voice form of a primary verb; to cause to be ("gen"-erate), i.e. (reflexively) to become (come into being), used with great latitude (literal, figurative, intensive, etc.): arise, be assembled, be(-come, fall, have self), be brought (to pass), (be) come (to pass), continue, be divided, draw, be ended, fall, be finished, follow, be found, be fulfilled, + God forbid, grow, happen, have, be kept, be made, be married, be ordained to be, partake, pass, be performed, be published, require, seem, be showed, X soon as it was, sound, be taken, be turned, use, wax, will, would, be wrought."

That is why I said in English. When a word in the source language has multiple meanings and the target language does not have such multi-meanings word, one must determine which English word to use, depending on the context.

However, in this case, egeneto means "became" and epoiésen means "made". These are different words, not one.

How about He became what was made by Him (all flesh) thus the Word was made flesh
( Is that lawful)?pplh

Well, take the devil's temptation of Jesus:

Mt 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

What was the devil suggesting? Surely either that the stones be made bread or the stones become bread. Same thing.
