Proverbs 14:15 NKJV
The simple believes every word,
But the prudent considers well his steps.
So your EVADING my simple Christian questions clearly implies you don't believe the Bible is the Word of God and you don't know who your god is.

Quoting you: "I'm not convinced that God wanted us to have a Bible"!

Please read your Bible. Read what Paul ACTUALLY WROTE.
I've read it MANY times. There is no contradiction with what Jesus clearly warned us about.

Quoting Jesus:

Matthew 25:41
41 Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

Exactly.
Paul wrote this:

Romans 5:18-19 NIV
Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people,
so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.
19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners,
so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

[
And these as well:

1 Timothy 2:5-6 NIV
For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,
6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.

Romans 11:32, 36
32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.
36 For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.

Titus 2:11 ESV
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people,

1 Timothy 4:10 NIV
That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God,
who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.

1 Corinthians 15:22
For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

Romans 5:15-16
But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man,
how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!
16 Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin:
The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification.

Colossians 1:19-20
For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,
20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things,
whether things on earth or things in heaven,
by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

1 Timothy 2:1-6
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.

Romans 3:24 NIV
and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Romans 9:16 NIV
It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.

We're talking about what Paul wrote, not what Matthew wrote. I gave you the verse numbers.
You don't want to talk about what Jesus said? Do you have a clue how many times Jesus WARNED us of THE FIRE? Paul NEVER contradicted Jesus.

You didn't read it.
I've read it MANY times. Paul got his doctrines directly from Jesus. Jesus clearly warned us of Hell Fire!

Say it out clearly. Are you saying Paul contradicted Jesus???

Jude 1:13 NIV
They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars,
for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.

I like the NIV for its modern, easy, understanding. However, like the KJV, it too has significant translational errors. Here is a better translation from Young's Literal Translation, which demonstrates a limited duration of time and NOT "forever".

Jude 13
Young's Literal Translation
13 wild waves of a sea, foaming out their own shames; stars going astray, to whom the gloom of the darkness to the age hath been kept.

2 Thessalonians 1:9
These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

Why do you believe that translation is accurate?

2 Thessalonians 1:9
Young's Literal Translation
9 who shall suffer justice -- destruction age-during -- from the face of the Lord, and from the glory of his strength,

The following verse describes "destruction". The world is tainted with the impurity of sin. Jesus "destroys" everything in order to remove the impurity of sin and then restores ALL things through his own purification methods. Most Christians believe that Jesus is a "destroyer"; he is not. Jesus salvages, restores and saves!

Proverbs 25:4 esv
Take away the dross from the
silver, and the smith has material
for a vessel

Hebrews 1:3 ESV
He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high

Revelation 21:5
English Standard Version
5 And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

The problem for most churches and most Christians is that they utterly IGNORE any and all scriptures that contradict the theology that Jesus tortures people forever in a forever torture chamber. They simply WILL NOT budge from that false (and twisted) doctrine.

Restoration.
Evaluation (judgement), correction, restoration, redemption.

The Great physician doing His best work in humankind.

Jesus said, "... love your enemies..."

No, but the seed planted dies and is no more, your house is left unto you desolate--some then rise unto eternal life, some to eternal damnation.

αἰώνιος aiṓnios, ahee-o'-nee-os; from G165; perpetual (also used of past time, or past and future as well):—eternal, for ever, everlasting,

Dan 12:2 - And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt
