Most likely he did. If he was tasked with the position he was given. He had to know about it to inform and preach to others on his mission.

Evading the NT! Do you have a clue how many times Jesus warned us of THE FIRE? List them for us.

Satan LOVES it when his messengers convince people that there is no everlasting punishment in Hell!
Of course Jesus warned His own generation of the "flaming fire" in which He would come to "take vengeance" upon the living by recompensing tribulation to those who were troubling the Thessalonian Christians (2 Thess. 1:8-9). These would be "punished with everlasting DESTRUCTION from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power." But this does not teach everlasting torment by that "flaming fire" that God would bring with Him.

"Everlasting punishment" is a death sentence of destruction which is never rescinded. The wicked are to PERISH in Hades (the grave), both body and soul in a "resurrection to destruction".

Total evasion! Do you know how many times Jesus warned YOU of the EVERLASTING Fire?

Do you believe that they will be corrected and restored?

It is the RIGHTEOUS who are enabled to "dwell with the devouring fire" and to "dwell with everlasting burnings" in God's own presence. With the covering of Christ's own righteousness imputed to me, in my resurrected glorified body I will be able to look upon my King in His beauty "in the land that is very far off". It is the wicked who cannot survive this. They have no covering of Christ's imputed righteousness, and so "PERISH" in the judgment when exposed to that everlasting fire which issues forth from before the eternal God's throne. If you don't believe Isaiah 33:14-17, I can't explain it any better than the prophet did.

Satan is not in a condition to love anything anymore. He was slain by God many centuries ago back in AD 70 and utterly perished when God burned him to ashes upon the earth, so that "never shalt thou exist anymore" (Ezekiel 28:18-19).

Do you believe that they will be corrected and restored?
The Scriptures do not teach universalism, with everyone who is ever conceived entering God's kingdom. There are too many references to "sons" versus "bastards", "wheat" versus "tares", "sheep" versus "goats", etc., with all the bad being "cast away" - not corrected and restored in the final analysis.

But I do believe Scripture shows that the vast majority of mankind are destined to enter God's kingdom as children of God. It will be a multitude "which no man can number". It is, after all, called a WHEAT harvest which fills the "barn" - not a tares harvest, which are only collected into "bundles" to be burned up.

Then you've been duped!

Mt 7 Narrow is the way to Life and FEW there be who find it.

Even BILLIONS are FEW compared to those who burn FOREVER!

Is it true that people who are going to Hell try to get rid of it?

I heard a famous Pastor once teach that these people try to "air condition it before they move in".

Here is what Paul teaches..

He teaches that the Devil blinds your mind so that you wont trust in Christ and another symptom of this mind blindness is that you'll try to believe that Hell isn't real.

Hell is just as real as Heaven.
THats a fact.

So, to justify your theological and literal ignorance, you'll teach that "God can't be love, if He has created a place of eternal JUDGEMENT, = for Christ rejectors to end up".
And go there they will.
You have God's word on it.......... John 3:36

What i can tell you is that everyone who is going to go to Hell today, not realizing that today is their last day to be on this earth, will believe in Hell once they get there.
Believe it.

Those that believe in the false doctrine of eternal hell fire also tend to believe in other false doctrines such as the lie that man has an immortal soul.
One lie leads to another and another.

There are no Christ Rejectors, who died never born again, found in Heaven.

So, where do they go after they die?

= Think.

John 3:36.

To the same place believers go; the grave.

This isn't a JW forum.

Didn't you know ?? = Mr "The Grave is the End"' ??

Listen, the JW-Cult theology wont work on a "Christian" forum., it only works on a JW forum where cult theology reigns and JW's pander it amongst themselves.

Don't forget that... @Beebster

See you there......

Wow! You're awful quick to judge.

I never said a thing about the grave being the end.

You see, unlike you, I believe you must dead in order to be raised from from the dead.

Of course not. Paul would never have preached such blasphemy.

Peace.
Jesus was a blasphemer? lol

Mark 9:47
47 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire--

Do you still have your eyes Jack or is the only literal part of that verse "hell fire?"

Jesus didn't say plucking out your eyes would save you. He said plucking out your eyes is better than burning in Hell Fire FOREVER!
