This and other issues boggles the mind doesn't it.....that's because the problem is spiritual....people are filling up with a spirit that causes them to have blind spots that defy common sense and shoot themselves in the foot.....and I believe that is a direct consequence of nations turning away from God and apostasy.....God's judgment. God gave Israel a spirit of stupor that they would go and fall backwards...that's what's happening in the west now. And evil is always present and waiting for opportunities, but nations and churches that reject and disobey God and His truth will not be blessed and protected by Him from the evil.

Jesus says, there are those who say they are Jews and are not whereas Paul tells us who is a Jew
Romans 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
It would be similar (I would think) to the preserved seven thousand/symbolic of the remnant in Paul's day (all of the same were in and considered of Israel) of the circumcision (made so by the hands of men) but were not all circumcised in heart by the Spirit. Which, at least then (even among themselves, at that time) one would be considered a Jew inwardly ( as Paul seemed to speak of them). These entrusted with the oracles of God at that time
So you could inwardly be a Jew as much as you could inwardly be a ravenous wolf.

There is this Rabbi Shmuley guy that is always pushed out by some conservatives who promotes what he calls kosher sex toys and promotes porn, I havent heard of anything like that in the scripture, they seem to hide their shame in there while these days they advertise those sorts of things. Its that Rabbi whose daughter owns a sex toy shop in Tel Aviv, so maybe she gives him a cut of the profits or something?

- Matthew 22:39: Jesus said, "And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself".
- John 13:34: Jesus gave a new commandment, stating, "Love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another".
- Matthew 5:44: Jesus said, "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you".
Matthew 22:39 Jesus said: 'Love your neighbor as yourself'".

Not always easy but, Jesus told us these things and we should be doing our best to follow His commands.

If you read it, you'll see there are different types of enemies. You make a common mistake by not considering who Jesus was addressing, in what context, and for what purpose when He said, "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" (Matthew 5:44). My focus is on the Jewish context of Jesus’ sermon and how His contemporaries, familiar with the Torah in Hebrew, understood His words.
Jesus spoke these words in the Sermon on the Mount, addressing a crowd that included Pharisees, scribes, and their followers, many of whom "hated Him without cause" (John 15:25, quoting Psalm 69:4). In this context, Jesus was speaking to those who saw Him as a sanē (נַאֲךָ), a personal opponent, per the Torah (Proverbs 25:21: "If your enemy is hungry, give him bread"). He said, "Though you see Me as sanē (נַאֲךָ), you must love Me, as the Law commands." Jews couldn’t view Him as an oyev (איב), a military or external enemy like the Romans. Jesus said nothing new; He reiterated the Torah known to His audience.
The tragedy and immorality lie in this: these Jews, seeing Him as sanē (נַאֲךָ), handed Him over to the Romans, the oyev (איב), Israel’s external enemies. This was an unprecedented crime for Jews. In Jewish thought, using an oyev (איב), like the Romans, to deal with a sanē (נַאֲךָ) was unthinkable—comparable to a Jew in Nazi Germany betraying another Jew to Hitler, the oyev (איב). This act was a monstrous moral crime, incomprehensible without the full Gospel context.
