Then you do not believe in the Bible and GOD'S commandments. .I don't believe that water baptism saves; I believe that Jesus was referring to spiritual baptism, which obviously does save. After all, many have received water baptism and thereafter lived wicked lives.
Very simple question: "Were you baptized in Jesus' Name?"You owe responses....stop deferring or as the left offers...transposing.

The silence is deafening! Still here gpresdo?Very simple question: "Were you baptized in Jesus' Name?"
"And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." (Mark 16:15-16).Rejecting water baptism is death?
Lets take a look in Act 8:35-39 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.Sure, spiritual baptism.
"And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." (Mark 16:15-16).
"And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John. But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him." (Luke 7:29-30). Rejecting God's counsel will get you eternal life in the burning flames (lake of fire) with the scribes and Pharisees. "For I say unto you, that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, Ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5: 20).
It's actually both, spiritual and physical, the physical act of being baptized in Water shows God that you have faith, and that institute the spiritual part of the baptism.
Just for clarity and your edificationThe theif on the cross was not holy, or baptized
Someone could forbid you in some way, or stand in your way of doing so
Mat 3:13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
Mat 3:14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
John, who had the Holy Ghost from His mothers womb, says he had need to be baptized by Jesus
These Gentiles had the Holy Ghost, and Peter asks if any can forbid these from water here
Acts 10:47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
The eunuch heard the message of Jesus Christ and when he saw water and immediately asks Philip
Acts 8:36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said,
See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
Adding, "what doth hinder me"?
Which could be something like a theif nailed to a cross confesses his belief in Jesus , for example one of the thives
Luke 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
Just for clarity and your edification
The thief was forgiven by Christ as he forgave others while alive, under the OT! Baptism wasn't a requirement of salvation until Christ died, at which point the NT began. Read Hebrews 9:16-17
16For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 17For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
It's a false argument trying to relate the thief on the cross with baptism.
Pastor Jim Jones received water baptism. Do you believe he went straight to Heaven immediately after murdering hundreds of his cult members and committing suicide?
And you refer to him as ...pastor....???Pastor Jim Jones received water baptism. Do you believe he went straight to Heaven immediately after murdering hundreds of his cult members and committing suicide?
Did he repent?Pastor Jim Jones received water baptism. Do you believe he went straight to Heaven immediately after murdering hundreds of his cult members and committing suicide?
Your senile question is demeaning. The silence is deafening! Still here gpresdo?

Where did I say the thief was water baptized? The Bible does not tell us if the thief was or was not baptized....Where?
Under the old covenant no one was baptized for sin frgiveness...it wasn't required. Only under the new covenant....it is required for the completion of sin forgiveness.
The thief on the cross was crucified with Christ in true faith and confession and experience. What we do symbolically he did in actual fact. He demonstrated more faith than most of the Apostles and his contemporaries believing in the resurrection of Jesus as the Messiah, and the return of Jesus to set up His Kingdom on the earth. He asked to be remembered when Jesus came to set up His Kingdom, and Jesus assured him then and there that he would be with Jesus when he came again. The Bible does not tell us if the thief was or was not baptized....Where?
Mk 16:15-16Wow! So he's a "Pastor" to you?
If you'll study the man's life you'll find he started off good and in the beginning was preaching Truth.
Then to the chagrin of the OSAS false teachers this guy backslid falling away from the Lord over in to teaching doctrines of demons, kinda like the OSAS people do.
Thankfully most OSAS people don't put poison in their kool aid, yet.
I have run across Church of Christ people who claim as long as one is dunked in the water they are saved, but they typically teach one must actually live for the Lord afterwards to their credit
