What would happen to the US if States seceded from the US? New York, Illinois, California, Minnesota, 'Sanctuary' States, etc.

The United States of Islam, maybe?

technically- no they can't! Nut Texas could because it is the only state accepted by a treaty.

I don't think so....and it would cause more problems than it would fix honestly.
Isn't that what Dems want? Just look at Nutcase Brandon Johnson. He wants the UN to investigate Trump. No doubt Johnson isn't the only Dem leader! I wouldn't be a bit surprised if States start trying to secede. NY, ILL, MN, etc.

Yes it would cause enormous problems, but they started the process decades ago and stopped it. In the 80's, I think it was the hunt borthers who drove up teh pric of gold and silver for they were building areserve for texas which had voiced a desire to secede. Texas was its own republic befoire it agreed to join the union

My nephew is moving to Texas from NY. He and I have spoken at length about The Lord and scripture. He tells me that they are trying to make abortion a capitol offence and those caught leaving the state for abortions would be arrested for murder.
My nephew is totally on fire for Jesus and the gospel and is especially involved in anti-abortion groups. Thank you Father for bringing my closest nephew to Jesus, praise report for sure! He will be living in a apartment in a Baptist church. :woohoo!::Shining::Hanging::clp:pray:

The Virginia electoral map by county.

Red - Republican
Blue - Democrat

The Blues will win the state due to the major cities. There are a lot of us who would like separated from the Blue counties and form another state all together...

Can States Secede from the US?

As established legally during the civil war, no - it is illegal for states to leave the union.

But, it depends on who is the Commander in Chief at the time a state might want to leave because it's the President that would direct the US military to go attack the state that is leaving and force them in to submission

This is what happened during the civil war in that Lincoln directed the military to get geared up for war and subdue the southern states and they barely got that done.

Texas having formerly been an independent nation would stand the best chance of being able to leave as a lot of countries around the world would recognize and help Texas remain independent. First order of business is to obtain some nukes and threaten the US with nuclear annihilation to get them to back off which would do the trick.

We know the US would not want a nuclear war across North America killing the majority of citizens living in North America, so they would back off and let Texas once again be an independent nation.

Texas is probably shopping for nukes right now! laughing.gif
They only need about 10 or 15 nukes

And we know for sure that states would never break the law.

How about the United States of Islam?

Revelation 20:4 Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands.

God is going to clean His filthy house!

The last time that happened, there was a civil war. States have a high degree of sovereignty, but it does have limits. Federal laws trump state laws, and immigration is under the purview of the federal government.

Bye Bye New York! Or should I say, Bye Bye America?

No, a state cannot unilaterally secede from the Union. The U.S. Constitution does not provide a mechanism for states to leave, and the Supreme Court ruled in the case of Texas v. White (1869) that the Union is a perpetual and indivisible entity.

I kind of think Islam doesn't give a hoot about the US Constitution. They are here and getting stronger! God is going to clean house!

48 Mosques have opened in Texas in the last 24 months!

We're on to them. They are not going to create a deep state, with a religious front thinking no one is watching, listening and following. If they operate in blue states, they are still being watched. Once we have the names of those running the Mosque, by way of who's paying for permits, we can then determine who they are, track their money and be patient.
