Jack, like seeing a brakelite ahead of you on the highway, I'd like you to seriously listen for a moment and consider a different perspective... One that doesn't do damage to the scriptures, but more importantly, doesn't do damage to God's character. After seeing the brakelite, if you choose to turn around, take a detour, slow down, dodge, even just think for a moment, then good.You're the one who rejects the Bible, not me! Want proof? You shouldn't attack the Bible and expect Christians to not notice.
Because people like quiet have a different idea on the meaning of hell, doesn't mean they don't believe in the Bible. Thing is, they take more stock in a correct appreciation of Who God is and what He is like, than a popular traditional view of eternal torment, which if you were completely honest, would admit that such an idea is
A. Not explicitly mentioned in Scripture and
B. Is a concept beyond what Scripture says regarding God's character.
Tell me. Which is worse. Being wrong about hell, or wrong about God?
