Gnosticism is the belief that experiences can save a person. This is never true, no matter what you believe. Not really.
I am already dying in that I am past my young adult prime. No one can "save" themself or be saved from death. Everything dies, but God wakes the dead in new angelic bodies. Now, this is confusing!
I agree... we should move on.... so, the question or issue here is why should you or anyone of us trust that Jesus is God? Do I have that right? Meaning, you do not believe that Jesus is God? NO SHORTHAND.I am already dying in that I am past my young adult prime. No one can "save" themself or be saved from death. Everything dies, but God wakes the dead in new angelic bodies.
Now let us get to the point, why should I trust Jesus to have been God?
He is supernatural, but not the God of genesis. When we die, he will be less supernatural to us.I agree... we should move on.... so, the question or issue here is why should you or anyone of us trust that Jesus is God? Do I have that right? Define damned? If you mean the afterlife, you have to die first. Trust is first, then deeds. Were the Israelites damned without Jesus Christ? This is silly.
What tells you that?He is supernatural, but not the God of genesis. When we die, he will be less supernatural to us.
Damned to hell with everlasting punishing. Interesting what you say about the final Messiah, but he didn't pre-exist. I think the Early Church Fathers thought there was much more proof in the Old Testament. But that is much to read.Define damned?
No salvation before Christ's ministry. Before that it looks like all went to Sheol and awaited Judgment Day.
Now it looks like Yeshua went to Sheol to preach the Gospel, what all happen with that we do not know.
But if anyone stands before Christ on Judgment Day and do not beleive in Him and that He was/is a God they are sentenced to Hell.
Following the Sadducees belief about the afterlife, they wanted to stone him, for saying Abraham was still alive. Hypatia murdered because she believed in irrational numbers. Thus, this is a very likely response, because they did not trust him.John 8:58 — “Before Abraham was, I AM.” (Echoes God’s name in Exod 3:14; the crowd tries to stone him.)
He made himself to act like God. The verb for make is very interesting. But since he supposedly already God, this would not be a good indicator of fact.John 10:30–33 — “I and the Father are one.” His opponents reply: “you… make yourself God.”
They believed it was slander, i.e. blasphemy.Mark 14:61–64 (par. Matt 26:63–66) — Under oath Jesus identifies himself as the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed, and the Son of Man who will sit at God’s right hand and come on the clouds (Dan 7; Ps 110). The council calls it blasphemy.
The word order doesn't follow the Greek.John 17:5 — He speaks of the glory he had with the Father before the world existed.
He was given an authority to pardon sins, something which doesn't happen anymore.Mark 2:5–12 (par. Luke 5:20–24) — He forgives sins and proves his authority by healing; the scribes say, “Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
Yes, because Thomas didn't call him God. He doesn't say My Lord and God, he says My Lord and My God which is similar to My Lord My God or My Lord and My God...!John 20:28 — Thomas addresses the risen Jesus: “My Lord and my God!” and Jesus accepts it.

Ok and thank you... Best wishes always.Following the Sadducees belief about the afterlife, they wanted to stone him, for saying Abraham was still alive. Hypatia murdered because she believed in irrational numbers. Thus, this is a very likely response, because they did not trust him.

I think I have covered the most important mythical verses.
The Babylonians of the Rabbinic period of Judaism purged the afterlife from prophetical writings. But we have Abel awake after Cain killed him. David was a messiah too. Did you know that? What proof in the Old Testament? Again one name can be called upon for salvation. No salvation in the Old Testament.
Final Messiah? Sounds like one of the false beliefs of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

You first!Messiah means anointed one. Hebrew Kings were anointed. David saved no one's soul.
Look I do not converse with Jehovah's Witnesses, gives me the willy's talking to someone that I know is going to Hell. So don't talk to me.
2-3% of the Christian Body is Non- Trinitarian.
They are not antichrists.
They believe in Christ,
follow Him,
so they are for Him,
not against Him.
It's a good start.JESUS "who, as He already existed in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped," Phil.2:6
People have struggled with the concept of Jesus as both God and man. He says believe in Me. The only prerequisite I know is that we believe that Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose from the dead on the third day.
I'd say that these churches are growing....Belief is a heavy word. We have to know Him. He came as a suffering servant, obedient to His Father, submissive, humble and directed us to do the same. So I think because it is difficult to fully grasp that He is God who became flesh and dwelt among us, He is merciful to those who cannot.
To these groups, who also do not recognize the Holy Spirt as a person, He cuddles them along and just does not grow their churches, because of the false doctrine.
But their faith does not become void, invalid, because He is the AUTHOR of our faith. They may have to be put through the fire and tested when He returns ... as the Remnent Israel ( Jews) will be. They will see Him and realize their error and mourn, but be saved in the end. So Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, Unitarian Universalists, the remnant Jews, Oneness Pentecostals, Christadelphians, Christian Scientists, Ingleside di Christos, Church of God, will be saved too. Jesus said that things said against Him c an be forgiven - as long as they do not blaspheme the Holy Spirit! Thr Pharisees accused Jesus of healing by the power of Satan - that was blaspheme and extremely dangerous. I do not think any of these followers do that.
At least it happened in the end...and this is what's important. My mom wasn't part of anybody these groups, was rebellious, did not have faith in Christ at all until just days before her death, she reached out, called His name and God finally got her attention. MybDad was a atheist most of his life. At ten years old, being brought up as a Catholic, he got on his knees and prayed for His father's life ( who had TB). God said no. And so my Dad decided there wasn't a God, until 70 years later ( of which 3 decades of my witnessing to him did not go out void), God finally lifted his veil of blindness too.
So all these folks and more will be enlightened. When they see Jesus, they are just going to know.

There's more there than I thought...Thank you so much for purchasing it... I do hope you enjoy it.. please contact me if and or when you have any questions or confused with the writing. I think I wrote and rewrote it no less than 100 times... the AOD is discussed on page 364 .. but of course, it has to be read in context with the rest of chapter 9. Again, thank you so much and please keep in touch -- any time. Best wishes always, Charlie
There really is... these are truly NEW interpretations that come through the lens of the coming Messiah and not through the historical lens- how the verses match up to our historical records. Can you share with me your thoughts on the letters from God that come before each chapter? thanks. There's more there than I thought...
will be skimming through....
and actually reading some of it.
