Reader,

Lets look at how you were redeemed if you are truly born again.
Now , if you are just water baptized and religious, then this short teaching is what you NEED....because you dont have God's redemption yet.

1 Tim 2:6

If you read it, you'll find that Jesus is God's = Ransom that has been paid for You.

Now,
The idea is...... that if your children or loved one is taken from you by the bad people....then you pay a required sum of money to the bad people to get them back.

So, What you pay to get your loved ones back, is what is required by the bad people, = as the RANSOM that is going to get your loved one released.

Now, as we turn this into Paul's Theology.... in the case of a SINNER needing God's Eternal Salvation....... The question is...= what is requried by God, on their/our behalf, that He requires to redeem you..to forgiven you.. to free you, and get you BACK into His Everlasting Spiritual Family ??

What does God require to pay for you....to pay for your SIN.??

A.) Its innocent Holy Blood shed for you.

And whose is that?, as He is your RANSOM of Innocent BLOOD being paid on The Cross... that eternally satisfies God's JUSTICE and Judgement against your dirty rotten sinful life.
See that?

So, the simple doctrinal (soteriology) understanding is..... = HOLY God offers Jesus's BLOOD to buy you back from the Devil, and to forgive your sin, to eternally redeem you.... and get you back INTO HEAVEN, into Himself.

Now....How does Paul teach this?

He teaches this as you being blood bought .

Here is the verse.

""""""""Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which He bought with his own Blood..""""" (Notice also this verse teaches the Deity of Christ).

New Living Translation
“So guard yourselves and God’s people. Feed and shepherd God’s flock—his church, purchased with His own Blood—over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as leaders.

English Standard Version
Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.

Berean Standard Bible
Keep watch over yourselves and the entire flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which He purched with His Own BLOOD.

Berean Literal Bible
Take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has set you overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which He purchased with the own blood.

King James Bible
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

New King James Version
Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

New American Standard Bible
Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

NASB 1995
“Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

NASB 1977
“Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

Legacy Standard Bible
Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

Amplified Bible
Take care and be on guard for yourselves and for the whole flock over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as overseers, to shepherd (tend, feed, guide) the church of God which He bought with HIS OWN BLOOD.

Now.

If you made it all the way down here, then that is great........and now here is your followup assignment.

Study : 1 Peter 1:18-19.

The price of a slave is not a ransom. Jesus' blood, meaning everything he did, paid for Israel, and gentile sins.

Now..

What has The precious Blood of Jesus accomplished for the born again?

A.) Eternal Security. = (
Eternal Redemption)...

Notice this verse, and BELIEVE IT.

---------------------------

Amplified Bible
Jesus went once for all into the Holy Place [the Holy of Holies of heaven, into the presence of God], and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own BLOOD, having obtained and secured eternal Redemption [that is, the salvation of all who personally believe in Him as Savior].

He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his Own BLOOD, thus = obtaining eternal redemption.

New Living Translation
With his OWN BLOOD—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever.

English Standard Version
he entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his OWN BLOOD, thus securing an eternal redemption.

Berean Standard Bible
He did not enter by the blood of goats and calves, but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His OWN BLOOD, thus Securing ETERNAL REDEMPTION.

Berean Literal Bible
nor by blood of goats and calves, but through the own blood, He entered once for all into the holy places, having obtained eternal redemption.

King James Bible
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

New King James Version
Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

There are alot of christians that do not fully understand what Jesus did for us. He is essentially sharing His status and position and essence with people who make it to Him in heaven. A bride holds value in the eyes of the marriage and to everyone involved. We are the bride of Christ.

""We are the bride of Christ."
Why does Paul teach we are the body of Christ ?

The Cross of Christ is a Divine Exchange.

Its this..

"God hath made Jesus to be SIN for us"...........so there go our sins......and then by FAITH ,. we receive this....

A.) The imputed righteouness of God, as "the Gift of Righteousness".

The simple way to understand it is.....>> : Jesus became our sin, and the born again became His Righteousness.

Does this mean that a Christian is perfect, and never makes a mistake or a bad decision or decides to pursue some fleshly desire?

No.

It means that God has now counted the born again as "made free from sin".....having become "the righteousness of God, in Christ'.

God has now established the born again, as having received "the gift of Righteousness"......and that is eternal, and has nothing to do with behavior, as the righteousness, is based on The Cross of Christ, and is given to a BELIEVER, as "our faith is counted by GOD as (Christ's) righteousness.""""

This is undeserved and it can't be earned.
Its a GIFT from God that is eternal.

Welcome To : SALVATION...........
Its a GIFT from God through Christ.
