I've heard of drugs explained as coming from the table of demons in someone's testimony about using shrooms. 1 Corinthians 10:21
But the earth belongs to the Lord and everything in it. So I'm not sure how that is reconciled.

I think it's a matter of use and abuse. God made these things for a reason, but man likes to exploit His creation in sinfulness.

God created the t ree in the midst of the garden . But they were not meant TO EAT of it .
JUST cause it grows dont mean it ought to be ingested , smoked or etc .
Just a friendly reminder is all .
It’s kinda of like people say that sex is shameful.
God created it… therefore people should teach the importance of that connection to their children as they grow up…
In order for them to be better prepared for when they do have sex because it’s a ceremony where two people whom are adults become one person…
God sees this as marriage…
So it’s the same with weed. God made it. It has benefits but it’s easily abused…
There are so many negative things that come with religious people who condemn everything in the world when God has allowed it.
It most certainly illegal to have sex with children but it’s not in every state illegal to use thc… in some form or another.
Be it gummy form, smoke form, dab form.

This is true but there are also deadly poisons in the earth. It doesn't mean we should consume them because they belong to the Lord. I know from experience how demonic psilocybin mushrooms are. I spend almost 2 years straight tripping on them on Ft. Lauderdale Beach. I was also an avid Marijuana user. I quit over 20 years ago. With one exception. around 10 years ago a friend talked me into smoking a joint. The Lord let loose the hounds of hell on me and I was demonically attacked. I will never touch it again.

I think it’s important to differentiate between medicinal cannabis and the “weed” that is high in THC and smoked for the drug effect, rather than the oil as a medicine.
There are many medicines in nature that big pharma copies so as to patent a poor imitation to make a big profit from the people they con into taking their synthetic poison....hopefully for the rest of their lives....why do we think side effects are a problem? Nature’s medicines do not have a long list of side effects. Our bodies know when something is fake.
Was your latter experience in accepting a joint from a friend, “the Lord letting loose the hounds of Hell”...or was it just an old relapsing friend revisiting them?
The effects of any intoxicant are determined by the contents of the heart and in whom one places trust. Wisdom dictates they be avoided, but the Spirit guides as He will and all things are pure to the pure.

The demonic oppression was enough to drive me to repentance...as in to never touch that stuff again.
It was a moment of weakness while entertaining an old friend (who was also a Christian) He had a theory that it was ok. I relented and indulged. I firmly believe the Lord temporarily removed my hedge of protection and opened me up for attack. It was a learning experience that will not need to be repeated.
I am all for healing herbs and natural remedies. However, I take a staunch stand against any thing that alters perception or consciousness. I think the Greek word for witchcraft "φαρμακεία (pharmakeía)" from which we get "pharmacy" makes perfect sense in those instances.

I have had demonic attacks myself and I know that they are most unpleasant.....I also know that there is nothing to fear but fear itself.....the demons had to beg Jesus not to send them into the abyss before their time. They too are fearful of what’s coming.
One can only assume in those circumstances....it was a good learning curve anyway...
Yes, the connection between drugs that alter perception and that take away inhibitions, are a great entry point for the demons....alcohol is too.
We can be selective if we do our homework.
I spent Junior high through college smoking weed and drinking alcohol with several "trips" on LSD. It was a thing in the early 80s. After college, I spent 83, 84 and part of 85 spaced out on magic mushrooms. They were easy to get in south florida. Thank the Lord he delivered me from that!

Sometimes youth feel exploring the unknown, especially when it's presented as "fun" or "exciting" or something else along those lines, including "safe'ish".
Parents sometimes have parent groups, sometimes teachers, like scouting and even military leaders, society leaders, which can include judges in civil and criminal cases and other educators.
Sometimes people follow things too far and get into trouble. Healthy education on those areas of things to avoid for youth and what might be signs, symptoms of situations and illnesses, what to do if encountered "is" important. And shouldn't be left out of the education areas.
Mushrooms can be toxic and also have look-alikes to the less dangerous versions. Organ damage has happened as a result in history. I never advise trying anything other than store bought.
Books can be properly purchase about native vegetation for survival or for the experienced professional. Which might include edible mushrooms. But probably would not include toxic mushrooms unless for medicinal reasons in emergency situations. There are natural ailments for things like venomous bites. But it's best to be prepared with proper carried first aid equipment.

If you got over your own personal abuses that is great, but you still are not perfect.
I got over meth, and thc... I still not perfect and have problems and still no better than the next person...

God is pleased by faith... A methhead can have faith, a predator can have faith, a murderer can have faith...
At the end of the day, God is looking at the heart.
Many people are looking on the outward apperence where he is looking at the heart.
And it's not wrong to use a drink if you need it. Or to use the weed if you need it cause its legal in your state... some people if they can handle meth and their life and hold it down, to them it's not evil.
Im not promoting and saying you should use drugs, but you should be aware of the dangerous of them... that is something that is important.
There are consequences when it comes to abusing substances and always will be... cause a lot of them alter the brain and some even eat at your body...
