NOTE: this post is about the ten commandments and Not about the rest of the law of Moses. Also God himself defined the covenant as the ten commandments, I have posted some of the verses about this fact HERE

Many today question whether the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant. Some believe they were temporary, pointing to writings that describe the law as a ministry that brought death and condemnation. But when we look deeper into the words of Jesus and the prophets, we find a different truth—one filled with life, purpose, and enduring glory.

The prophet Jeremiah gave a clear promise from God:
“I will make a new covenant… I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” (Jeremiah 31:31–33)

This promise was not about removing the law but placing it where it was always meant to be—inside the heart. The commandments, once written on stone, would now be written in living hearts through the Spirit of God. But like any true covenant, it only works when both sides agree. God remains faithful, but His people must accept it, cherish it, and allow His Spirit to plant it deep within them.

Jesus never set the commandments aside. He honored the law and taught its fullness. When He healed on the Sabbath or defended His disciples for picking grain, He wasn’t breaking the law—He was showing its true purpose. He said, “It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.” (Matthew 12:12) The Sabbath was made for man—not man for the Sabbath. Jesus reminded the people that the heart of the law is love, mercy, and goodness, not cold rituals.

He also taught that not even the smallest part of the law would pass away until all is fulfilled:
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill… till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law.” (Matthew 5:17–18) Jesus taught from the law and lived by it. He deepened its meaning. He showed that anger leads to murder, and lust is already adultery in the heart. His teachings didn’t cancel the law—they raised it to its true spiritual level.

So why does it seem today that God's law is not written in the hearts of many? The answer lies in the covenant relationship. If one party refuses the covenant, it cannot be fulfilled. The Spirit cannot write in a heart that is closed. Many call Jesus Lord but do not walk in His ways. As He said, “Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?” (Luke 6:46)

The commandments remain—not as a list of rules, but as a path to life. The law of God is perfect, converting the soul. The problem was never with the law, but with the hearts of people. The old covenant failed because the people broke it, not because the law was faulty.

The new covenant is not the removal of God’s law but its renewal—inside us. The Spirit does not lead us away from the commandments but gives us the power to live them. Jesus said the Spirit will guide us into all truth. The law and the Spirit are not enemies—they work together when the heart is willing. In the end, the new covenant fulfills the old by making it alive. The law that once condemned now becomes a light. But for this to happen, the covenant must be embraced, and the heart must be softened. God's law in the heart is a sign of His people. It is how we love Him and love our neighbor.

The commandments are not heavy when written in love. They are eternal because they reflect the character of God Himself. They are still standing, still Holy, and still waiting for hearts that will receive them—not in stone, but in spirit and truth.
Well the commandments would be heavy if they were written as the wording was on stone.
It simply means in your mind you know how God wants you to live and in your heart you want to live that way, because that is where what was written in the law now is, in your heart.
About the fourth one as written
Paul stated in Rom2:14&15 if gentiles have never known of biblical law they can show the requirements of the law(not some of the requirements) are written on their hearts, obviously by the way they act
How many people, if they had never known of biblical law would by instinct follow a set saturday sabbath?

The Ten Commandments directly apply to evangelism. Without them, evangelism has no effect. This is why people who ask, "What do I need to be saved from?" They won't know they are sinners deserving hell without being confronted with the Ten Commandments and ow they are breaking them every day.

Paul says in Romans that he didn't know he was dead in his trespasses and sins until he was confronted with the Ten Commandments. Telling people that Jesus loves them without showing them how they are breaking the Commandments produces easy believerism.

Also, the reason why so many reject the Gospel preached to them is the preaching of Jesus is "an offense to the Jews, and foolishness to the Greeks (gentiles). The Gospel is not good news to those who don't know they are sinners deserving of hell. Most sinners think they are good people. It is only when they are confronted with the Ten Commandments and shown how they break them every day, that they realise they are breaking God's law, and condemning themselves to hell. They then know that if they appear before God at the judgment, they will be found guilty. It is only then, when they realise that they are condemned, that when presented with the Gospel of Christ as their only "parachute" they will see it as good news, and be much more likely to believe it and embrace Christ as Saviour.

Also, the law brings us to Christ through effective evangelism, we are continually reminded that we are sinners under the law, and therefore this keeps us holding on to Christ in faith and depending on His righteousness and the work of the Holy Spirit to develop sanctification in us. As long as we have a sinful flesh, we will always see ourselves as sinners until we are glorified and receive our new sinless immortal body.
Good Morning

It is God who saves through Jesus Christ. I saw a woman get convicted in her heart watching a baptism in a church and get saved. Jesus pursues us and finds us where we are to call us to Him. If you walk the streets in a city and tell individuals about the 10 commandments, they will avoid you. If you tell them about Jesus, they tend to listen. It is all about Jesus and His saving Grace. Been there and done it. This is why the gospel is foolishness to the unsaved, they think you are foolish for preaching. You have to not look and talk foolish. Evangelism is a gift, not everyone can do it.

The Ten Commandments were graciously given by God as the foundation of His covenant relationship with His chosen people. Through these divine instructions, God lovingly called His people to be set apart—a holy nation dedicated to His purpose and glory.

These commandments are far more than mere rules; they are a gift from God, guiding His people to live in harmony with His perfect will. They teach us the path of moral integrity and uprightness, fostering personal responsibility, social justice, and true community. The commandments direct us to honour God above all, worshipping Him alone with awe and reverence, while also instructing us to treat one another with dignity, respect, and fairness.

Yet, within these sacred words lies a profound truth: humanity’s inability to perfectly fulfill God’s holy standards. When the Israelites turned to the golden calf (Exodus 32:8), it revealed how easily our hearts can stray, even in the face of God’s clear commands. The prophet Isaiah echoes this reality, declaring that even our best deeds are as “filthy rags” before the Lord (Isaiah 64:6). The commandments thus serve not only as a guide, but also as a mirror, exposing our deep need for God’s mercy and pointing us toward the hope of redemption.

Ultimately, the heart of the commandments is love—love for God and love for others. As the Lord commands in Deuteronomy 6:5, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” And as Leviticus 19:18 teaches, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” In these two great commandments, we see the fullness of God’s desire for His people: a life marked by devotion to Him and compassion for one another.
It is for this very reason that our Lord Jesus Christ came into the world. In His perfect wisdom, He illuminated the true spirit of the commandments, revealing their deeper meaning and teaching us to fulfill them not merely through rigid adherence to the letter of the law, but with hearts full of love and compassion. Out of His boundless mercy, Jesus rescued us from the just penalty of our sins, willingly bearing the weight of our transgressions and offering Himself as the ultimate sacrifice on the Cross.

By shedding His precious blood, He established and sealed the new covenant, marking the dawn of a new era of grace and redemption. At His ascension, true to His promise, Jesus sent the Holy Spirit—the Comforter—to dwell within all who believe in Him. The Holy Spirit now guides us, imparts understanding, fills us with divine love, and inscribes God’s commandments upon the hearts of believers, making us partakers of the covenant.

In all He did, Jesus exemplified perfect gentleness and humility, fulfilling His Father’s will with unwavering obedience and selfless love. His life and sacrifice stand as the ultimate expression of God’s love for us, inviting us to follow in His footsteps with gratitude and reverence.

Blessings.
Several here, including you, have suggested that the Ten Commandments are examples. In as much as Jesus was the personification of the law and Jesus being our example in obedience, then yes, I suppose the commandments can be examples in an indirect way, but examples of what?
I would like to suggest another perspective. God's ultimate purpose for man is that we be transformed by the renewing of our minds and changed into the image of His Son. This image is one of character. This is accomplished through the indwelling of the holy Spirit, the love and righteousness of God being granted as a gift. Righteousness, God's love, and His law are synonymous. All are gifts, all are Christ's righteousness, and are placed in the hearts and minds of those who have the faith to receive them. They come to us by promise. And we receive them by faith.
The Holy Spirit is promised to all who ask. Righteousness is promised to all who hunger and thirst for it. And the Ten Commandments are promises. Each one.
“1 And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
13 Thou shalt not kill.
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
Exodus 20.
With the exception of the 4th and 5th, they are promises. The 4th and fifth, they are different. They are something you choose to do in recognition of the love and authority of God. You choose to obey...or not. You decide whether or not you want "this Man to rule over you". Is He Lord? Or just a sugar daddy to give you stuff when you want them?
Commandments are just that. Not suggestions. But God isn't so arbitrary to expect the impossible. Many here have said that we don't have what it takes to keep the commandments. And i agree. That's why they are gifted as promises. And along with the promises, comes the desire and the power to walk in them. As Jesus said, and Paul concurred, God's Law is love. "If ye love Me , keep My commandments" Jesus said. Love, the gospel, grace, the mind of Christ, the laws of God, all are intimately connected and cannot be separated from one another. What a wonderful redemptive plan God has instigated on our behalf. He draws us to Himself, reveals His character to us, promises us eternal life, takes our place in death, and gives us the power to obey. We may not get everything right. We are still human, prone to sin, and we will right to the end have to battle against sin, pride, and self. But though we are judged by our works, accomplishing those works are not our problem, because they are a result of the work God accomplishes in us through His Spirit. It is God's problem, and He has promised to finish the work He has begun. That is our assurance. Our hope.

“2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. ”
2 Peter 1:2-11 KJV

You are correct. No-one. Which shows that the Sabbath can only come by revelation. And revelation only by relationship. And it is no coincidence that relationship is at the heart of Sabbath keeping.

Im afraid not, the only reason you believe you should observe a set Saturday sabbath is through knowing written down biblical law, otherwise you would never have believed you should follow that law as writtten/you wouldn't have known about it.
But Paul tells us, if we have never known of biblical law we can show the requirements(not some of the requirements) of the law are written on our hearts, obviously by the way we act

Yes. The Scripture says that there are none righteous, no, not one. And, all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. We show that a person is not righteous and therefore condemned by comparing their life and conduct by the Ten Commandments.
For example: Have you always loved God with all your heart, mind, and strength?
Have you ever told a white lie?
Have you ever taken possession of something that is not yours, even something very snall?
Have you ever looked on someone with lust?
Have you ever said, OMG?
Have you ever been envious of someone else's possessions or position?
This means right from your youth up.
If so, then you are a lying, thieving, blaspheming, coveting adulterer who hasn't always loved God completely. How many Commandment is that you've broken.
The Scripture says that that if you have broken just one Commandment, you have transgressed the whole law, and you will be found guilty at the Judgment.
So what is the answer, How will you escape the wrath to come? By believing the Gospel and putting your trust in Christ.

Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones says that there is no such person as a good Christian. We are all vile people saved by the grace of God.

It is important that we keep to the sound doctrine of the Scriptures and not be carried away by humanist fables.

Jesus spoke of the sabbath and explained at length how to follow it

Jesus did not instruct the disciples or anyone else to observe or keep Saturday Sabbath

No where in the writing of the Apostles in the New Testament do we see instructions for keeping Saturday Sabbath nor do we see where we are told not keeping keeping Saturday Sabbath is a sin and we don't see writings in the New Testament saying their are repercussions for those not keeping Saturday Sabbath

To say Jesus never mentioned it is not true.

Big difference between mentioning it and commanding New Testament believers to keep Saturday Sabbath which Jesus and His Apostle never taught

Which shows that the Sabbath can only come by revelation.

And of course the SDA people continue to be befuddled as to why Jesus and His Apostles did not instruct anybody to keep Saturday Sabbath not are there any New Testament writings saying not following Saturday Sabbath is a sin

The first mention of sabbath in God’s Word is in Exodus 16:23. This word in in Hebrew is “shabbath” (shabbat) which means intermission. This word can be found at H7676 in the Strong’s Concordance Greek and Hebrew Dictionary. The english definition is defined as an interval between periods of activity, temporary cessation, pause. In other words, STOP working!

Mark 2:27
And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

We see here that Jesus is saying the reason God created the sabbath is for the benefit of man and not for the benefit of God. Whether man rests or not, God is at rest. He desires that His people join Him in resting. God’s ultimate purpose in creating mankind is to have a people created in His Own Image that CHOOSE to be with Him and are willing to turn away from all that is in opposition to the Lord of Hosts!

Under the old testament laws and regulations God’s people had to work on the outside to keep themselves in right standing with the Lord. In other words there were things they had to do physically on the outside to remain in a right relationship with the Lord. Under the New Covenant, we are supposed to be abiding IN Christ and allowing His Spirit to abide IN us to lead us and guide us and empower us to do what is right before the Lord, to please Him... which results in man keeping his body under subjection (1 Corinthians 9:27, 1 Thessalonians 4:4) to abstain from evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22).

Jesus tells us in John 15:5 that "I am the vine, you are the branches. For apart from Me you can do nothing" We read Jesus saying in John 15:4 that we are to “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me”

The Lord desires us to abide in Him and He in us by His Spirit (1 John 4:13) so we are baring fruit by His presence with us and not by following laws and regulations on the outside that require our own works. This is what is good and better concerning REST under the New Covenant versus the old covenant... Jesus abiding in us doing the works thru us by the power of His Holy Spirit, not man doing his own works as we see under the old covenant.

This is the REST we are called to enter in to and this is not something we are to do only on Saturday as was required under the old testament Law of Moses. Everyday our entire lives should be in submission to the Lord under the New Covenant to allow His Word to produce thru us as we cease from out own works to please the Lord and instead please Him by laying our lives down and abide IN Christ.

Colossians 2:14-16 tells us that the ceremonials laws were nailed to the cross, including the Saturday sabbath requirement. Jesus became the fulfillment of what the sabbath represented in the old testament. The sabbath day was a ceremonial law given only for the Jews in the old testament. It pictured resting in Jesus Christ for salvation. This is plainly taught in Hebrews 4:1-5.

The contrast between the old and the new covenants is summarized can be seen Hebrews 4:3-11 where we see the importance of not hardening our hearts but instead yielding and submitting our lives to the Lord and entering in to HIS Rest with Him:

Continued:

Hebrews 4:1-11
Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

It’s easy to see WHY Jesus said “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able” (Luke 13:24). WHY shall they not be able to enter in? Because of unbelief due their heart being hardened related to doing their own work rather then entering in to the REST that can only be found abiding IN Christ.

In Deuteronomy 5:12-15, the Israelites were commanded to keep the sabbath as a memorial of their deliverance from Egypt by God’s mighty hand. In the Old Testament, violating the sabbath resulted in a person’s excommunication from Israel, or even death (Num 15:32-35).

Since Jesus was raised from the dead on the first day of the week, we see in the New Testament scriptures how the Apostles were led by the Lord to hold meetings on Sunday, the first days of the week. They did not call this “sabbath” since Jesus Christ IS our sabbath. They were simply led by the Lord to worship on Sunday.

We see in Acts chapter 2 that the first church service was on Sunday (the day of Pentecost they were all with one accord in one place and received the outpouring of the Holy Ghost). And, the first public evangelism meeting was also held on Sunday out in the street after the Holy Ghost was poured out in the upper room (Acts 2:14-36)

Acts 20:7
The first day of the week, the Apostles came together to break bread

1 Corinthians 16:2
Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him

Under the New Testament with Jesus Christ as our High Priest we are to die to self (Galatians 2:20) and live IN Christ, thru Christ submitting our entire lives everyday of the week to the Lord because HE is our Rest.

The word sabbath only occurs two times in the New Testament epistles. For the believer today, a sabbath rest is described in Hebrews 4:9 as a moment-by-moment rest by believers in the Lord by faith. This reference contains no commandment concerning which day the church should meet for worship.

It’s not really an issue if someone wants to go to church in Saturday but it becomes an issue when some claim that not having church services on Saturday is a sin that causes people to lose their salvation. The New Testament does not teach this and this belief is in fact extra biblical as it did not come from the Lord Jesus Who is the High Priest over the New Covenant.

Those that endeavor to keep the old covenant sabbath that was ordained as part of the Mosaic Law in Exodus 20:8-11 are actually trying to keep this part of the old covenant. If one believes they are justified by any part of the Law of Moses, they have fallen from grace and what Jesus has done becomes of no effect for them

Galatians 5:4
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

John 15:15
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Under the New Covenant’s better promises (and all around better deal both for God and for man!) Jesus calls His faithful “friends” which is a dear friend, actively fond of, an associate (G5384 in Strong’s Concordance). This is because unlike in the old covenant, we are joint heirs with Christ Jesus (Romans 8:17), raised up to sit with Him in Heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), translated from darkness into the Kingdom of God’s Dear Son (Colossians 1:13-20)

This righteousness before God is only available to those that have ceased from their own works as taught under the New Covenant seeing that the old covenant has been taken away once the New Covenant became available thru Jesus Christ. (see Hebrews 10:9 and Hebrews 7:12).

Galatians 2:21
do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Galatians 3:11
No man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

The Council of Jerusalem in Acts 15 we see how the Holy Spirit led the Apostles to conclude that gentile converts to Christianity were not obligated to keep most of the rules prescribed to the Jews by the Mosaic Law, such as Jewish dietary laws and the rules concerning circumcision of males. The Apostles were led by the Lord to retain the prohibitions on eating blood, meat containing blood, and meat of animals that were strangled, and on fornication and idolatry.

There was no leading by the Holy Spirit at The Council of Jerusalem to include Saturday sabbath as being a requirement for New Testament Christians to observe. Had this been the will of God that we keep Saturday sabbath under the New Covenant, the Lord would have led the Apostles to include this as a required... but, He did not do so.

Keeping Saturday sabbath is not a requirement for born again Christians and the claim that one must keep Saturday sabbath in order to be in right standing with God is not entering in to the REST that the Lord Jesus Christ has provided to His people under the New Covenant. Righteousness does not come thru any part of the old testament the law including keeping Saturday sabbath.

Big difference between mentioning it and commanding New Testament believers to keep Saturday Sabbath which Jesus and His Apostle never taught
If we study Romans, we see that the Law, including the Sabbath commandment, applies only to unbelievers in order to lead them to Christ. Once one puts their trust in Christ as Saviour, the Law is fulfilled and no longer applies. The believer has a new law written on their new hearts, involving loving Christ with all their hearts, and loving their neighbor as themselves. What this means is that the Christian believer is no longer obligated to observe the Saturday Sabbath, because it is part of the Mosaic Law that has been fulfilled and set aside, replaced by the law of Christ written on the heart of the believer.

In fact, as Jesus said, we worship God in spirit and in truth. This means that we worship God and follow Christ every day of the week, instead of just reserving one day.

Great, so we can all steal, kill, lie, murder, etc, etc and it's all good right?

If we don't qualify what is meant by the law is not longer applicable, then the false grace teachers will us that to lead people in to believing we can live in sin and still be saved which is what the false grace teachers specialize in - turning the grace of the Lord in to lawlessness

All 10 of the 10 Commandments are found in the New Testament and are applicable under the Law of Christ which is what New Testament believers are under now. The sabbath has been upgraded to God's rest being in us thru the Holy Spirit which is much higher rest that take Saturday's off and only worshiping God one day a week

Jesus did speak about the Sabbath, and He treated it as something that already mattered. He did not say it was removed. He corrected wrong use of it. Jesus said, “The Sabbath was made for man” (Mark 2:27 NKJV), not that it was made useless. He also said He is “Lord of the Sabbath” (Mark 2:28 NKJV). A Lord does not take authority over something that no longer exists.

Jesus kept the Sabbath Himself and taught what was lawful on it, doing good, healing, and showing mercy. He never warned His disciples that the Sabbath would soon disappear. In fact, when speaking about future events long after the cross, He told them to pray that their flight would not be on the Sabbath (Matthew 24:20 NKJV). That only makes sense if the Sabbath was still meaningful.

In the book of Acts, the apostles are repeatedly shown keeping the Sabbath. Paul preached on the Sabbath to Jews and Gentiles alike, and Gentiles asked to hear the word again on the next Sabbath (Acts 13:42–44 NKJV). This was long after the resurrection. There is also no command anywhere in the New Testament that says, “Do not keep the Sabbath anymore.”

It is true that the New Testament does not give a new law saying, “You must keep Saturday Sabbath or else.” But it also never says, “You may now break it,” or “It no longer matters.” Silence does not cancel a commandment that God Himself spoke.

The apostles focused on teaching Christ, repentance, faith, and obedience to God. They did not repeat every command in detail, just as they did not repeat “do not murder” or “do not commit adultery.” These things were already known.

So the New Testament does not abolish the Sabbath.
Jesus restores its meaning.
The apostles live within it.
And nowhere does Scripture say it became sinless to ignore what God blessed and sanctified.

Who rejects the Comandments ? Jesus did not in fact ! but he did fulfill them in fact ! not that the carnal would understand that !

Thing is that Grace covers the Comandments now. big difference in fact !

The Commandments were under the schoolmaster in regards the OT !

What is the Sabbath? How do you define the Sabbath?

"Once one puts their trust in Christ as Saviour, the Law is fulfilled and no longer applies."
I think once we put our trust in Jesus the laws written in our hearts guarantees we obey the ten commandments. Especially as we are doing so already with the first command.

My Dear Brother in YAHshua HaMashiach,

YAHshua is our Sabbath Rest

Jesus is God's Rest for us who believe, for no day of the week is more holy then the next.

Missionaries have entered into villages in utterly remote areas, untouched and previously unreached by any church, to discover the people there already observing the Sabbath. As i said previously, it's about revelation and relationship.
Even though you know what the Bible says, wharf the 4th commandment is, you still reject it. So you contradict your own thesis.
