It's God's law.

Guess what?

The Gospel is God's law.
The Gospel means "a good message". It is a message that the kingdom of God has come on Earth and we can enter it through belief in Jesus Christ. The kingdom of God is freedom, it is the end of fear and slavery.

The Mosaic Law given to ancient Israel in the desert had its specific time, place and purpose and is not valid anymore.

Jesus proved that's false.

Don't be ridiculous.

The term, Mosaic Law, is implying Moses was the author of the law.

Moses was given that law by God.

It is God's law.
Jesus reiterated the law during his sermons.
And also said,if we love him we will keep his commandments.(Law)
How are you getting along obeying Jesus commands in the gospels?

I think for some, a watered down version of the TC is preferable to focus on than Jesus commands in the Gospels. It is not so easy to be in ignorance of what they state:
Carry each others burdens(love them) and so fulfill the law of Christ Gal6:2

Do you really not know what the gospel is? It is like in the letter of Paul to Galatians, in which he was perplexed he needs to remind them the gospel again, such basics.

What church are you from, if any?

Read the teachings of Jesus himself.
Yes indeed . hey button look real closely at
this lovely answer you just gave .
THEN remember that when you see a rainbow holding jesus that kisses on korans and seems to be fine
with everyones sins and even their relgions .
CAUSE that ecumenical harlot jesus is NOT JESUS .
You right . LETS LOOK real closely at HOW JESUS walked , what HE said , what HE taught .
Cause this statement you gave is quite true . ONLY most who now say this truth
STILL preach another jesus . AND that on e sure do contradict THE REAL ONE .
SO may i suggest bible time again for us all and to learn that JESUS well .

Precious friend, Great Questions; I have been asking the same, but there is not much interest:

That is a good thing:

Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. (Gal 3:24-25)

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Rom 8:2)

And, precious friend, Please Be Very Richly Encouraged and Edified
In The Lord Jesus Christ and In His Precious Word Of Truth, Rightly
Divided:

The Bible: The BIG Picture

Amen.
Yes, the BIG Picture where Christ is found throughout.

So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. (Mat 20:16)

And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last. (Luke 13;30)

That is the BIG Picture and all shall be saved.

Peace.

Christ came to free is from sin... so you interpret that to mean we are free from the law which points out sin?
If that is their stance, that can be where those who badmouth eternal salvation get the false impression that Christians can sin with impunity and still see Heaven.

It was God's law. Moses just wrote it down.

We hear on Christian forums far too frequently, that we cannot overcome sin. That we will sin every day.
If we live in the age of grace, and we do, then have reigns. This being the case, then it is easier to do right than it is to do wrong. When sin reigned, it reigned against grace. Until the power of sin was broken, then grace reigns. The power of sin was broken at Calvary. But do we have the faith to believe that? Do we have the faith to believe we can overcome sin? Surely it is literally true that when grace reigns it is as easy to do right as it is easy to do wrong when under the reign of sin. It can never be repeated too often that under the reign of grace it is just as easy to do right as under the reign of sin it is easy to do wrong. This must be so, for if there is not more power in grace than there is in sin, then there can be no salvation from sin. And that is precisely what Jesus came to accomplish, to save us from our sin.

Do we believe that? That is the question we must each answer for ourselves. Do we truly have faith that God can accomplish this for us? Can He? Will He? Is this what you want? You must decide this for yourself.

[Matthew 5:17 KJV] "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil."
John 19:
30. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished: and He bowed His head and gave up the ghost.

Jesus 'fulfilled' the 'law and the prophets', when men couldn't therefore in sin and death were 'accursed'.

And according to born again Apostle Paul, the law meantime acted as a 'custodian' before the promised one appears to liberate, and moreover by the law he knew what sin was.

Also because of the law, sin came alive in him and he was battling within, knowing it was wrong, he did anyway, time until the law of Christ and the Spirit of truth set him 'free'.

Henceforth he encourages us no longer work towards the things of the flesh, by the law to bondage, but rather to the things of the Holy Ghost and New Testament 'freed'.

You would have to justify saying Jesus only meant to keep the ten commandments and explain why the law Jesus said to keep could be set aside as not pertaining to you.
An 'Israelite' rich man asked Jesus, 'What must he do to inherit eternal life?'

And apparently 10 commandments etc. were given by Moses to them, and he claimed to have kept all the commandments since young boldly.

But one more thing the Israelite must do henceforth to inherit eternal life, that is to sell everything and follow Jesus from then on.

Since Jesus Christ henceforth from Heaven have brought them grace and truth and is in the New Testament, the 'new covenant' promised to be given and made.

'Within', did Jesus say obey the 10 commandments or obey His commandments throughout in doctrine, which shows in fruit those who love Him?

Shalom in the name of Messiac Yeshua
