Why does God place His name alongside those who have died?

You know they have not yet been perfected or received their reward.

What was required of them before they could rest with their ancestors?

“For all live unto him” – based on the principle in Romans 4:17.

Romans 4:17 “As it is written, ‘I have made you the father of many nations’ in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist!

He called Himself “The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob” (Hebrews 11:16).
Abraham, “…the father of us all” (Romans 4:16).
Isaac, his “…only begotten son” (Hebrews 11:17).
Jacob, “…a multitude (assembly)” (Genesis 28:3).

If only you held this truth Marks you would nor misrepresent Him, His Scripture and His Truth.

Yep. In Him we live and move and have our being. If we live, we live unto Him and if we die, we die unto Him. So whether we live or die, we are the Lord's.

And we are not sorry to be away from home out of the body because we will have come home to the Lord.

I'm quoting scripture but I won't give the passage and verse references because this scoffer scoffs at the words of Christ and of His apostles.
