The arctic and antarctic regions were non-existent in the days of Noah, pre-flood, but only came about post flood, due to the destruction of the flood, debris shot into the air, blocking out sunlight, and the earth cracked and tilted as it is now, and so is simply returning to a somewhat normalized state. I would recommend this material to you (though I do not agree with the 'firmament' or first part of the explanation):Due to global warming, we didn't have any snowfall here last year. We are in a subarctic region, but the climate has become increasingly similar to that of subtropical southern areas in recent years.
However, it finally snowed this year, and at least the snow managed to accumulate instead of turning into rain in mid-air, though it melted quickly.
Thinking back to the days when ice removal trucks were needed to clear the roads of ice and snow...
I'm not sure whether this is a good or bad thing.
I often feel pessimistic about the future climate of the world.
The seasons used to be defined, but not anymore….the heatwave we are expecting tomorrow is unprecedented in many inland places…..absolutely suffocating heat, while others are battling cyclones, heavy rain and flooding. Not natural at all…..fires are also a worry….I hear that Australia is in for a heatwave of 50°C, which is 122°F. So they are in for a possible heatwave, while 1,200-1,500 miles away across the Tasman, we are having heavy rain, thunderstorms, and high winds. (cyclones). Crazy stuff...
I understand it,Due to global warming, Extreme weather will become more and more frequent in the future. This is the reason why I am pessimistic. This indicates that the end of the world is near as the Bible says.@soberxp, it's summer here. I haven't seen anything like this...it's disturbing.

As for the weather in my 'neck-o-the-woods' in N. California, it is cold (for Cali), foggy, cloudy and nighttime. It is only on a rare occasion that snow ever makes it this far down (towards sea-level in the valley), and I have only seen it happen maybe 3 times in my life of 48 years. Snow does accumulate at higher elevations, in the foothills and mountain regions where my sister and brothers live along with their families.

All we need to do today with everything we see, is discern the AI from the real. This discernment of fake imagery will become seriously important in the near future when unbelievers and believers alike will demand proof of the impending false second advent of Christ, and be shown imagery of Satan impersonating Christ... such will be overpoweringly deceptive whereby a personal knowledge of scripture,. Not someone else's opinion of scripture, will be your only recourse to truth. In Texas now I'm told, they are awaiting an ice storm that will eventually affect 2/3 of the country. Here i am sitting in Melbourne where is currently 38C...100F. Heatwave? Don't know whether I would call it that, although in some parts north of here it will be around 55C...130F...but it's far preferable than what others are getting.
Yep, there's some crazy extreme weather around the world and it's getting more common. Global warming? I have my doubts about that, but a sign of the times? Absolutely.
Stay warm and dry folks. Stay home and be safe.
On that note, my son just showed me some pics of Russia at present..

@Jay Ross, what's the weather doing over there? It's heavy rain, high winds, flooding and thunderstorms here. Bring like this for days; lots of roads washed out. Landslides and a few people are missing or deceased. Flooding everywhere.![]()
Because God knows that we simply cannot give up our habit of driving 5,000 kilometers and go back to the primitive society.I simply wonder if God will allow us to fix the "climate change" which we willingly caused over the past 30 or so years and allow us to do so in a God like manner or controlling way.
Shalom

No one can change their lifestyle, especially since this lifestyle is precisely the cause of the current climate change. What are you really trying to say?
I disagree (as a whole, though certain wasteful lifestyles do contribute to pollution) Such man-made pollution (trash, plastics-waste, electronic waste-components, oil spills, air-pollution by vehicle, business, &c) is minor compared to actual earth disasters brought about by satan, such as underwater turbidity currents / underwater earthquakes, volcanic explosions, land earth quakes (throwing metric tons of asbestos, etc into the air), landslides, firestorms, airstorms, &c. For instance:No one can change their lifestyle, especially since this lifestyle is precisely the cause of the current climate change.

So, in your previous post, what had the 5,000 km trip that my wife and I had undertaken have to do with climate/weather change?
Perhaps you might like to expand what you mean about our lifestyle needs to change? What is the primary sin that caused the climate change?
