I don't see a lot of difference; a radical Islamist would have more trouble in America, abusing the law the way MAGA has done this year. Religious fanaticism is pretty much the same in all religions. And the abuse of state power is pretty much the same.

On the other hand, MAGA has killed far fewer protestors than Iranian islamists have. And MAGA fanatics have done some mass killings, but nothing remotely like 9/11. Since there are MAGA people who do respect the law, just as most American Muslims do, that's a wash.

I guess, if I had to chose, it would be MAGA.

This is an important point. Not all MAGA supporters are extremists. Not all Muslims are extremists.

The extremists who attacked our Capitol on Jan 6 are not typical of Trump supporters. Al-Qaeda is not typical of Muslims. There are those who do support extremists like these. But we shouldn't label every one of them as traitors or religious fanatics.

I have dear friends that were raised as Muslims. But while I love them, I cannot love Islam. And I pray for them to come to know Jesus eventually.
