Who are we to judge though. When people have heard the gospel and reject it?

What does Christ say about it? He says leave them alone.
God's judgment is on them.
This is what Christ's instructions are to do.
Okay; should I put you down for "No, because they deserve it", or "No, because God predestined them for Hell, and who am I to argue with God?"

Should I add a choice, "Frankly, I'm glad they're going to Hell"?

Postscript: I added the “I’m glad” option.

Might we be jumping to conclusions about this?
Wasn't God's judgement upon them before they even heard the gospel?

yes, but it is justified then as a witness to the rest of the creation. God does not judge un-righteously. He warns them and He actually has warned all by his own works as Creator, so they are without excuse. At the judgment, it is not private just between you and Him.

  1. Luke 11:31
The queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation and condemn them, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and indeed a greater than Solomon is here.

  2. Luke 11:32
The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here.

Romans 1
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who [d]suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is [e]manifest [f]in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and [g]Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like [h]corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

Judgement Day for a Christian neighbor.

God: Welcome to heaven.
Christian: Thanks. This is really great.
God: We have something we need to discuss.
Christian: What's that?
God: Do you remember Jesus telling you to love your neighbor as yourself?
Christian: That sounds familiar.
God: I planted you in a specific neighborhood to reach your neighbors with the good news.
Christian: You did?
God: Yes. Did you succeed, or fail?
Christian: I don't know any of my neighbors.
God: Why not?
Christian: They were all rotten sinners.
God: What were you before you met me?
Christian: Well... I err... not like them. !!!
God: I disagree.
Christian: I didn't send my neighbors to hell, it was their choice.
God: They didn't have a choice, because you failed them.
Christian: Couldn't they hear from someone else?
God: It was your job to tell them.

I confess that I am not good at witnessing. All the people I led to Christ were at Church
I was pretty good at evangelism when I was younger.
I took the classes and had the tools. (tracts)
I did a summer missions trip and was the first to see a convert on our team in London.
That was definitely a divine appointment. Credit where credit's due.

Since that time I have been open with people about our church involvement
and invited my neighbors to Easter service last year. If someone asks me about
my weekend at work I will tell them that I went to church.

However, I don't push it. Against company policy to be proselytizing at work.
But an opinion or thought here and there is okay, I guess.
So, friendship evangelism is fair game.

When there was a blowup at our neighborhood HOA meeting I followed-up with
the guy who walked out of the meeting. This led to a closer relationship.

My best friend is agnostic. We talk about God stuff a lot. He has questions.
Almost everyone in his life are Christians. (hello?) Including his wife.

Where there is a will, there is a way. God is able to setup divine appointments. Though one's opertunity to respond to the gospel may be shorter than we think.

Consider Elisha being called by Elijah. The Impetus was quickly shifted to Elisha. Elisha responded with great conviction.

1 Kings 19: "19Elijah went up to him and threw his cloak around him. 20 Elisha then left his oxen and ran after Elijah. “Let me kiss my father and mother goodbye,” he said, “and then I will come with you.”

“Go back,” Elijah replied. “What have I done to you?”

21 So Elisha left him and went back. He took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them. He burned the plowing equipment to cook the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow Elijah and became his servant."

That’s the way to make a decision. He had no option to return to plowing

Perhaps the best evidence that no one really believes in a forever-burning Hell.
Or that no one really loves their neighbors. Take your pick.

If you really loved your neighbors, and believed in a forever-burning Hell, you wouldn't send them there.

I can hear the reply coming now. "I didn't send them to Hell, they sent themselves there."
Did you do anything to stop them? Did you convince them otherwise?
Did you live a life that made Christ attractive? I see...

Fortunately for me, I don't believe in a forever-burning Hell. Not really my problem.
Do you believe in a forever-burning Hell? (nope) If you did...

Or maybe you don't really love your neighbors. Seems to go hand-in-hand.
