The way I understand this passage in Jo 3 is that one must be born again of the Spirit to both know and enter the spiritual Kingdom of God. This passage dwells upon the spiritual Kingdom of God without any reference to the Kingdom of God as it physically exists on this earth through the church that is the body/bride of Christ. Because Nicodemus, a Jewish Pharisee believed that eternal salvation was for the Jews born through the physical seed of Abraham, and salvation was according to obedience to the Laws of God given to them.

But it is about seeing it act and do miracles. It was near. And everything is based obedience to laws, even if it is the law of the messiah.

The people are relieved, and put their two dead bodies on display, but then the two witnesses are suddenly taken up into heaven (Revelation 11:11-12). This a followed by an earthquake, and the bowl judgments then begin (Revelation 16:1).

Many lack understanding my friend . The two witness are just that witnesses who speak the words of GOD .
ITS THE VERY WORD that will be the judge of those who denied him . its a figure of speech
to show what will occur upon those who rejected christ and persecuted the witnesses .
you see GOD is the judge and has GIVEN ALL JUDGMENT unto the SON .
the son who said MY WORDS shall be your judge on the last day . HE will destroy all who rejected Him .

There is much that can be seen in the OLD test when reading the even revealtion .
For example . The angel tells john to eat the book , sweet in thy m outh but bitter in thy belly .
NOW lets see what GOD told ezzekial . Eat of this roll , it will be sweet in thy mouth .
And later we read where it says HE went in bitterness .
Persecutoins and trials would await . but the word itself is sweet to the taste . but the cost will be the cost and the sheep

I perceive that the three manifestations of Christ are:
1. In mortal flesh- now past.
2. In His Holy Spirit- now present.
3. In flaming fire/ Immortality- still future.

So then, you can say that I was physically born during the time of His 2nd manifestation, whereby I answered His call to me, by repenting of my sinful ways, and then "opened the door" of my heart and INVITED Him to COME into my life.

It was at that time of when I recieved the Gift of God's righteousness and Eternal life through the vehicle of the Holy Spirit, aka the reality of being born again. But this time, I am now born from above, and have been adopted into the family of God, a member of Heavenly Jerusalem, of which is the ONLY Jerusalem that IS BEING "safely inhabited". Zech. 14:11

As a result, ever since 1976, I remain "hasting unto the day of God [eagerly awaiting]" His sudden and visible return from heaven in flaming fire.

Have you ever thought that the two witnesses [anointed ones (Zech. 4:14) born WITH the Holy Spirit] were the Joint ministry of John the Baptist and Jesus?
