Thanks for your concerns.
I use the word "retribution" as the obvious position of the church of God against humankind.
I believe is ultimate redemption.
But you said you don't trust the Bible (God of the Bible). I don't think you even know what god you believe in.

Maybe with a second pint of beer and with more of a gravelly Israeli accent. I haven't decided if that one is from Kilkenny, Liverpool, or Mel-bunn.
I was channeling a British kid from a TV show. Not sure whereabouts he's from, or whether the accent is even real.

Next time let's do Klingon opera. Jonah's gonna need to butch up a bit.

Okay, so sarcasm? Then I agree with you, and yes it is true that retribution and vengeance is a popular, even predominant view perhaps, a perspective of the ultimate purpose of God's dealings with mankind... hence ECT. But I do still disagree with you on ultimate universal redemption, and I disagree with the church on their various opinions on the plans of God regarding their thoughts regarding the final outcome of the gospel.

One prime goal, which will be, must be, accomplished by God, is to completely eradicate sin and rebellion from the universe. This cannot be done while there are millions of souls burning in hell for all eternity cursing God and each other. How does that bring any glory to God, and how is that a resolution to the sin problem? And if God seeks such retribution that it must continue for all eternity, then where is the justice? If punishment never ends, then justice is never met.

And if all are saved and changed only because they are suffering and are desperately seeking relief and therefore implore God's forgiveness and say, "we'll be good", how much confidence will the angels have living with such people in heaven who have never genuinely formed and forsaken sin, never battle through the carnal nature and learned to live in the righteousness of Christ and experience the power of the gospel, how long before there's another rebellion?

Do you really believe you can tell God what He can and can't do? Are you gonna tell Jesus He can't burn BILLIONS of humans in Hell FOREVER? Won't Judgment Day be interesting.

Agree.
A forever burning hell is not a final solution to sin.

What do you imagine will happen on Judgement Day?
Every nation, leader (both government and religious), every individual.

Another ATTACK on the Bible!

So, you don't like what Jesus said OR you don't even know what Jesus said?

Matthew 25:41
41 Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
Revelation 20:10
10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

That scripture is not about Judgement Day.
Apparently, you don't even know what Jesus said. (no surprise)

Here's Bible that you said, "no wonder I don't trust the Bible":

Matthew 25:31-46
31 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him,
41 Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

That's a better reply.

You chopped off the most important doctrine in the NT!

41 Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

Malachi 3:2 NIV
But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears?
For he will be like a refiner’s fire or a launderer’s soap.

Our souls are either compatible with darkness or compatible with light.

We determine our eternal afterlife destination and design it by our acts in this life.

We either get born again and live in obedience to God … or we reject salvation and delight in sin.

Live in darkness now, live in darkness forever.

Live in light now, live in light forever.

Interesting analogy. I agree with it as far as the earth itself is concerned. It will be cleansed, for God is a consuming fire, and He will consume all sin and all who refuse to part with it. The earth itself will be recreated. And the saved, the redeemed, , will eventually inherit a clean planet with nothing to mar its beauty, its glory, it purity and the righteousness of its inhabitants. No sin. No death. No hell. No suffering.

Is your so-called Bible attacking actually a sin?
You're the expert, at least you try.
What does the Bible say?
Why would you care what the Bible says? You reject what Jesus clearly said about the Flood and Hell Fire the most important doctrine in the NT!

Quoting STV: "I'm not convinced that God wanted us to have a Bible".

Apply that to humankind for a total reset.
