However, if you will repent of your unbelief, and again trust in Christ to KEEP YOU SAVED, and that is not you trying to "abide" or keep commandments or whatever other WORKS you are trying to do, to try to stay saved @1stCenturyLady .........so, if you will repent of all that Self Righteousness, then it can be that God will start to show you some BIBLE., as you could certainly use the instruction, now that you are in your later years.

Except, no one taught me this. Or any of the doctrines of God the church doesn't seem to know, except one. I found out about them when a missionary friend told me she doesn't understand what I teach, (she was raised Lutheran), but she receives pamphlets from a church in Texas and she doesn't understand them either, but they teach the same things I do. I was shocked feeling alone in my beliefs. So I got on their mailing list, and sure enough, God had spoken to them (father and son preachers) and told them not to preach anything that He hadn't taught them. That was 20 years ago and people write in to them they had never heard what they teach either, but when as a Berean they checked out what they preached, it was true and didn't contradict other scriptures like the 45,000 denominations teach.

So, Behold stop making up things about me when you are just jealous. No one previously taught me this. I just really wanted to know what you believed about the scripture I gave you to interpret to see if God was teaching you too, instead of preaching from ignorance, like all the pastors whose churches I visit.

Of the spirit, soul, and body of 1 Thes. 5:23 what MUST be born again now to be saved? That is before we die, not as the doctrine of demons many in the church teach that it means when our body is resurrected. Do you believe that too?

The spiritual part of us cannot be touched in a dissection of our body. So what is someone's nature and where is it located in us? Does God really write his laws in us? Where? It says our heart, but does the writer refer to the organ that pumps blood through us?

Do you know what is wrong with the verse in the Bible in Galatians 5:17? There is a publisher's mistake. Can you find it?

What I stuggled with for a long time was about the Sabbath. I was raised Seventh-day Adventist and went to all their schools and even their college, who taught speaking in tongues was of the devil and what the person was saying was blasphemies against God. I left the SDA's at 23 years old. Then I went to the Church of Christ with my husband and that is the denomination he was raised in. He was a country music recording artist and while "on the road" I met an artist (I was an artist so searched out local talent) who happened to be in the Jesus Revolution of the 70's and spoke in tongues. I argued with her for a while through the mail, until when giving her all the reasons tongues had ceased in 1 Cor. 13, I then read to the bottom of the chapter and the Spirit of Truth hit me with the truth (face to face). Then came 6 years of not being in any denomination. I just studied, and then took the advice of Pat Boone's mom and dad and went to the church Pat found in California where we settled. 6 months later I was filled to overflowing with the Spirit, heard God's voice and saw a vision. But I wasn't given tongues, meaning my tongue didn't start moving on its own and I could speak gibberish that know one understands, but God. But I didn't know any better at the time so spoke gibberish for a few years. But all my prayers in English that God had spoken to me to repeat word for word, came to pass. Now I don't speak in tongues. Even though I've asked for the true gift.

What I do know about denominations is that I would be bored out of my skull to join a dead cessationist denomination. I only visit them to learn more about the latest supernatural gift God has given me. The ability to literally see on the pastor when he is preaching if what he is preaching was anointed by God or not.

I haven't learned from pastors. I teach pastors.

I don't speak in tongues to pray. God already shows me His will and tells me what to pray and it comes to pass. Why should I pray for the rapture when He hasn't told me to? Should I obey you or God? I don't cast pearls before swine. Many have tried to test me like you and the Pharisees to Jesus. I only pray for those who are genuine. I know about Pentecostals trying to teach how to pray in tongues, the laughing, the barking like dogs, and it upset me terribly. I cried all through those services at these counterfeits. I had already been filled with the Spirit now for 20 years. Those fads passed.

You are like "Israel", who are "ignorant of God's righteousness".....and are trying to save themselves by works/moses law.

So, they are "stumbling" at The Cross.

Then Paul teaches that people like you @1stCenturyLady ..... who are trying to "abide" or "commandment" keep.......whatever is on your self saving list.......that you are stumbling at The Cross also, being ignorat of God's Salvation.
But in your case, your "stumbing", your thological ignorance, is to not understand what you were given by God as the eternal Blood Atonement.
So, this is why you are trying to "abide", as your self effort to try to stay saved.....= which is your "stumbling" in the same way that Israel "stumbles" doing their "works".

The Scripture is perfect.......its the person in the verse who has not yet the revelation that Christ Keeps Him saved, so his faith is in his performance of Moses Law, and that is causing extreme "inner issues" because when you try to perform for God through Moses, instead of through the righteousness of Faith, then you end up "fallen from Grace".........which is your issue. @1stCenturyLady .

See, some who are deeply confused will post...>>"as long as i endure to the end", as their "work".. to try to stay saved.
Others who are deceived will talk about "going back and keeping the law"......as their WORK.
You are one of these....."well i read a symbollic verse that i want to believe is LITERAL",, so, in my confusion, i BELIEVE the verse is telling me that i have to do something other then TRUST IN CHRIST ALONE.........to try to stay saved".........."so, im going to work really hard to keep abiding".... so that i can try to keep myself saved if i do that.......because I dont have Real Faith in Christ that He Keeps me saved.

I lived for 30 years without that power and was weak as a kitten and couldn't stop sinning. Then the night I was finally born again I literally felt a heaviness lift out of me. Without that sin in my nature anymore, I could make choices, but He also put His Spirit in me and my desires are what He would do, not what my old man used to do. I just had no desire to sin. Now, lets look briefly at Romans 5, the main parts...

1.) vs 10 says that you were an ENEMY of God, before He saved you on that day of your Salvation.

2.) vs 8 says that God saved you while you were still a sinner.

So, Paul teaches that you were an enemy of God, and a sinner, and that is all you brought to God on the day of your Salvation.

Understand?

So, if you had 'repented of all your sin"... then you were still a unforgive sinner and an enemy of God......until the moment that you gave God your faith in Christ. And when you did that........God gave you : verse 11.

Romans 11 says you "received the Atonement"........and the Atonement is a Complted GIFT of GOD that contains..

A.) Eternal Salvation
B.) Eternal Righteousness
C.) Eternal Forgiveness

See those 3 Eternal "Gifts?"......Having those proves you have been RECONCILED to God.....= forever. Romans 10.

And how?
How did God Reconcile you FOREVER to Himself?

Romans 8 explains that you were RECONCILED to God forever by : "The DEATH of HIS SON".

Now can you do that to keep from losing your Salvation?

Listen...... where did your Eternal Salvation happen originally>?
Your Eternal Salvation happened on THE CROSS.... So, THERE is where you find your ETERNAL Reconciliation, and Redemption, and Justification and Sanctification.....as they are given for Free, only based on : THE DEATH of GOD's SON Jesus, on THE CROSS.

This is why the GOSPEL, is "we preach CHRIST CRUCIFIED".........and, "the preaching of THE CROSS is the POWER OF GOD, unto SALVATION, to/for = Everyone Who Believes"........as only a BELIEVER can be Reconciled to God and born again only based on The Cross of Christ.

Now, did you notice what is missing from God's Redemption, and Reconciliation, and Justifcation, and Forgiveness, and Eternal life?

What is missing is you doing anything.

You are not a part of God's Eternal Salvation, except for the fact that you can RECEIVE IT by Faith, because our "FAITH is counted by God, as (Christ's) Righteousness"......given to us for FREE : as ""THE GIFT Of Salvation"

So, if you are trying to stay saved, then you do not understand that you can't do that for yourself.........
Reader....You can't cause yourself to stay saved anymore then you could cause God's Salvation, as Salvation is Jesus on THE CROSS, and you can't do that for yourself........You cant earn that or keep it.
But you can RECEIVE IT and have it FOREVER.... as God's Completed "GIFT OF SALVATION""" that Jesus's Blood and Death COMPLETED FOR YOU>.. 2000 yrs ago.

Now, if you are worried about losing your salvation, then first of all, stop listening to Self Righteous Heretics who want you to believe you can lose it.
Turn them off.
Get them out of your face. Get them off your SCREEN.
DELETE THEM.

And if you have fallen victim to them, then Paul says you are "bewitched" by them, and you are "fallen from Grace" (tho still saved), and you are "in the Flesh"....which is your carnal mind that has trusted these liars who caused you to lose your real faith in Christ.

The Cross Of Christ is a Divine Exchange, whereby,.. "God hath made JESUS to Be sin for us"......on the Cross, and we then receive from God......."The Gift of Righteousness".
See that : EXCHANGE that happens at The Cross of Christ, when you give God your faith?
See what God did for you?

Thats an ETERNAL SALVATION.
