So you arbitrarily decided it was just in the eternal word of God--not that we really needed to know--because it is all just "history." That is so short or worldly sighted!
I was referring to the current epidemic state of unbelief...which the gentiles also have their time of. Otherwise:
"
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33
Which is "literal", the things of the Kingdom of God, or the things of this world? Time for a renewing of your mind.
I already explained--it all happened at the cross--not the name of Israel being used by a worldly government, but by being crucified with Christ as firstfruits of the Spirit.
Jesus said "It is finished." You should want to find a way to understand that as true.
As for the Book of Revelation--it is "
The revelation of Jesus Christ" including everything (in summary) from "
before the foundation of the world."
As for the great tribulation being called Jacob's trouble--it is called that--because it all fell upon Christ...at the cross. There is not greater tribulation.
As for "spiritualizing"--God is spirit--and He is spiritualizing all who are His, "
all in all." If you don't like that idea, you have a problem.
As for the Preterists, they too were wrong about the timing of all things. Biblically, there are only two correct defining descriptions of when
everything happens that all other biblical descriptions come under: "
Today" as Jesus said, and "
but each in his own order" as Paul elaborated.
As for finishing the transgression--what do you thing Jesus did on the cross?
As for the great tribulation leading the Jews to acceptance of Jesus as the Messiah--no, what leads them is Jesus as
firstfruits, and His prayer, "
Father forgive them for they know not what they do."
I am not here weighing in what I believe is right or "wrong."
But do consider what you have stated--such a strong movement, yes! But the Bible refers to it as "
strong delusion" for not believing the truth.
