If you are going to reject the PLAIN Scripture in John 3:36 then I can't help you.
You provided just one verse and it doesn't explicitly say baptism is not required
We've provided about 10 verses, all explicitly support baptism. This is what the modern interpretation ignores and dismisses for no good reason.
Mark 1:8
I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit."
Acts 1:5
5 For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”
Romans 6:3-4
3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
Mark 16:16
16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Acts 19:5-6
When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.
1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
Acts 2:38
Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Mark 1:10
10 Just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove
Can you please explain why so many verses are explicitly supporting baptism?
The RCC IS heretical.
To say it isn't is to prove that YOU are also a heretic.
And again resorting to your cheap hate and slander. Calling people names because they disagree with you. That's all you've got. Your embarrassing yourself and the whole modern interpretation
