Do you ever sin?Explain your interpretation. I'd like to hear it. But use scripture.
The forums is a dangerous place to be open, but as I am not used to sinning, this man with obvious evil in his heart was like Jesus said, “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.""Pride" was your own confession, not my judgment. (And I respect your transparency and self-awareness in admitting it publicly.)
Don't worry; you're in good company. The Apostle Paul had his pride issues too, and in 2 Corinthians 11:16-12:6, he decides to let it all hang out. Boasting. He knows it's sinful, he knows it's foolish, he knows it's wrong - and he does it anyway. That's what I love about Paul, and I love that the Bible is open and honest about it.
And I've got pride issues too, and so does just about everybody on this board. That's probably one of the reason's you're getting so much push-back.

You're asking if the Author and Finisher of my faith has completely perfected me yet? I don't know. All I know, like Paul, I go to bed with a clear conscience. Keeping that information from that evil man was the first in many years of affecting my conscience and I had to open up that wound and let the puss run out, though it opened me up to the very common ridicule I am used to on these forums.Do you ever sin?
And yet John and Paul admitted openly that they were sinners after salvation. Two of the most Godly men who ever lived! Jesus is the ONLY perfect one. You're asking if the Author and Finisher of my faith has completely perfected me yet? I don't know. All I know, like Paul, I go to bed with a clear conscience. In today's age, just look around you. The Communist party has infiltrated the United States to where I had to give up friendships I've had since childhood. As 2 Thess. 2:3 the Church is rampant with false doctrines that have so twisted the minds of churchgoers that the truth is a lie to them, and the lie is the truth. What I teach is in line with Jesus saying "Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect." That is laughable to many forum members, let alone The Church.
What's to debate? Just read it from verse one. And the "I's" in the whole chapter is like the "me" in 8:2 which says it freed Paul from 7:14-25. It is only western mindsets that cannot understand eastern styles of writing. In light of that, what's funny is verse 9. "I was alive once without the law, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died." Meaning sin was not imputed to mankind from Adam to Moses, but when God gave Moses the law without the infilling of the Holy Spirit, mankind was accountable. Which is why in 2 Cor. 3, the tablets engraved on stone are called the "ministry of death." So, was Paul 1,500 years old? It is laughable.Ahh, who is the "I" Paul is talking about in Romans 17? Himself before his conversion? Himself after conversion? Scholars have been debating that question, possibly for centuries, without consensus.
You are reading the gospels as if Jesus had ALREADY DIED FOR US. Why do you think John the Baptist's message was necessary to make straight the path to Jesus? REPENTANCE!And yet John and Paul admitted openly that they were sinners after salvation. Two of the most Godly men who ever lived! Jesus is the ONLY perfect one.
Luke 18:10-14
10 "Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, 'God, I thank You that I am not like other men--extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.' 13 And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me a sinner!' 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other;
Think what? There are a number of different views.wow 11 no's.. so do all of these 11 think God saved them and made them glorified super mature christians who do not need to grow?
I am dumbfounded and worried that people think this..
It sure doesn't mean anyone is perfect! Were John and Paul saved imperfect Christians? I think they were. They clearly stated so.You are reading the gospels as if Jesus had ALREADY DIED FOR US. Why do you think John the Baptist's message was necessary to make straight the path to Jesus? REPENTANCE!

Where? It sure doesn't mean anyone is perfect! Were John and Paul saved imperfect Christians? I think they were. They clearly stated so.
I think any view that says we are sinless is a faulty view..Think what? There are a number of different views.
No, we have to get past your false works based theology your view is built upon.EVASIVE!
Don't you even know "Faith without works is DEAD"? God said so.No, we have to get past your false works based theology your view is built upon.
ActuallyDon't you even know "Faith without works is DEAD"? God said so.
Amen! And they fit nicely with works.Actually
We are saved by grace through faith
OSAS? Nah.one who claims to have faith but has no works. never had faith to begin with.
. so they are lost.. not because they have no works.. no works proved they had no faith
What is so hard about giving them again? That was not love. Or do you mean the verses about people before Christ even died yet for our sins? They don't count because we all have sinned before becoming born again. Those people, including the disciples, like when Peter denied Jesus, did not have the power of the Holy Spirit in them. Do you even know what it is like to be born again of the Holy Spirit and have supernatural gifts you never had before? I hope so, because I know from experience that maybe you, like me, can go to church for 30 years UNSAVED. But then in 1977 I became born again. That night I saw a vision and heard God's voice speak one word to get my attention, and when I quieted myself, He spoke 8 sentences that seared into me that I will never forget. Ever since then 100% of my prayers are answered, and the latest gift is my eyes have been opened to be able to see if a pastor is anointed by seeing the anointing. They are either white or royal blue. How many times do you want me to quote them???
