I was just thinking about King Agrippa. Care to guess why?
Is there a particular translation of the Bible that you prefer to read?

The one who didn’t serve in the Navy served in the Marines.
I don’t know what he saw but I know what he did. (He tried to kill Japanese POW’s by giving them gasoline to drink.)
To his dying day, he hated the Japanese. I believe that if he had seen one, he would have killed him or her on sight.

I haven’t come to the part of his story yet when Takashi Nagai, a Catholic doctor who served in the Japanese army (two tours of duty in China), has the atomic bomb dropped on he and his family.
Uncle Ernie has been dead for over 50 years. If he were alive today and knew what I was reading, I have little doubt that he would force me to drink gasoline, just as he forced the POW’s he was guarding on that Pacific island 80 years ago to drink.

This is a common error.
I leave it to you to study the subject further, if you wish, though I think the true answer is perhaps challenging to arrive at.
My dad served on HMS Birmingham during the war mostly escorting troops. I have a great photo of him on deck with his shipmates.It’s about the US Navy in the Pacific during World War II.

I'm just offering a different view. I'm not here to persuade anyone about anything. Doesn't bother me what anybody believes as long as their beliefs don't harm others.
I know. People who’s faith is weak - mine isn’t, you’ve actually strengthened it - might be persuaded.
So why are you here?

Did you ever have any desire to serve your country in the Navy? (I had a strong desire to serve my country in the Navy when I was a teenager. I wouldn’t have thought twice about killing you if our countries were at war and our ships met at sea. I would have done it in a heartbeat.)
I'm here to learn about Christianity and hopefully make some friends along the way.
There's different reasons why people's faith weakens, it's up to them to come to their own conclusions....
You persuade people to follow Jesus. I don't.

I doubt that you know the primary reason why I’m here. (It’s not to learn about Christianity.)
I never had the desire to serve my country in that way... I don't really like the set up in the UK.... I'm anti-monarchy for starters and I hate the class system.
Thank you for clarifying. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it - in fact I would encourage it - but why do you want to learn about different varieties of Christianity?

If he's saying one of the genealogies is Mary's, then Chuck is wrong. This is easy to prove for yourself just by reading the text.
I can explain the difference, but I haven't so far because (a) that isn't what this topic is about, and (b) it doesn't seem that you're open to any answer other than the one you've already been given, and (c) it isn't very important theologically.
