You ask a "Christian" what are the verses that teach the saving Gospel for NOW and they babble some nonsense because they just don't know.

I have tried that but I've found that soon they are blaspheming the Gospel so I back off.
I often find it difficult balancing being prepared to give an answer for what we believe and not casting pearls before swine.
Any advice?

Ask them what they are hoping for after they close their eyes for the last time.
Most reply with nonsense or change subject.
Some though do believe in an ongoing self-aware existence & they seem to be the ones worth persisting with.
What appears to put many unbelievers off of Christianity is their exposure to 'Christians' who emit a foul holier than though odor and flip me we have a few here,
